All you keep talking is about how I'm a troll or Bengal hater because you literally have nothing to defend yourself when you decided to come at me with pointed posts that ignored the posts I was responding to. You talk about context yet ignore it. Come at me for bringing in HOF talk which I didn't. And talk about HOF talent which I didn't bring up either. You don't respond to a single person but me even though I'm responding to other people's posts.

If you have something against me cool dude, thats on you. But don't keep making shit up with your holier than thou attitude when you're ignoring all the crap around you. Sorry I said your favorite player can be overrated by Benglas fans...which other people agreed with.

Stop the goofy nonsense of categorizing all Bengal fans with a single sentence.  How hard would it be to say some Bengal fans?  A few Bengal fans?  Anything but Bengal fans do this or do that.

It's a statement implying all Bengal fans think alike and nothing could be further from the truth.  I've seen plenty of people come in here and try to paint the whole fan base with a single wide brush stroke and I have to admit, it pisses me off.

And I didn't reply to whom you were replying because they didn't say what you said.  That seems pretty evident.  I also never expressed anything against you, just the things you said.  There are very few groups of any kind that can be summed up in a single statement.  That's just basic human relations.

Quick bit of info about Gino. He's currently second on the franchise all-time defensive leaders for sacks with 75.5. First is Carlos Dunlap with 81.5 sacks.

Hell of a draft. Like I said, we need another one like that with 2 (or more) absolute home runs.

2011 was a good one, too, with AJ and Dalton, but man, that 2010 draft really helped set up that 5 year playoff run with big Los and Geno.

Good to see Atkins get some deserved publicity. Also good to see 2 Bengals on the Top-10 snubs list.

It certainly could not have been done without them.

Geno made Aaron Donald possible.  And it's so cool that he never speaks.

And Carlos is one of my all time favorite Bengals.   I absolutely love his spirit.

His PDs probably match up with a lot of CBs and Ss and LBs.

He gets overlooked because he is a true all around DE whose sack numbers are not as gaudy as the sack specialists in the game.

He should've been on the "snubs" list as well.

As usual, Bengals not getting the deserved credit b/c they don't win playoff games.

AJ, Whit and Dunlap all could've been on the All Decade team for sure. They definitely made the 2nd Team! Lol

I would put Los's stats up against Cameron Jordan.

They both averaged 3.2 tackles and 0.6 sacks per game over the decade.  Jordan had more TFL, but by only one-tenth per game (0.8 to 0.7).  However, Dunlap had 55 more QB hits (223 to 168), twice as many forced fumbles (20 to 10), 11 more PDs (58 to 47), and scored 3 times as many tds (3 to 1).

TBH, I was a little shocked to see Jordan even on the list.

Yep... On a higher profile team, Carlos Dunlap would be a much more respected player. Opposing coaches and players know, but I don't think the average casual Saints fan knows about him they way we know about Jordan.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I’ve been saying it for years, Dunlap is our most underrated player. I couldn’t believe some people actually named him in that overrated Bengals thread we had last year. Craziness.

"He should have more sacks than he does!"

6th most in the league since he came in. Therefore, people are stupid. And the per game numbers that Fred posted above (for the guys with less service time), prove he's among the best.

Like John Copeland; watch tape on the guy and you will see a DE that is merely good at everything but the run game (where he was VERY good), but tons of our fans called him a bust and a terrible player.

(now, Copeland isn't the same caliber of player that Dunlap it, but the point remains)

People think it's all about sacks... it's not.

Back in 2011 I remember reading that he was the most disruptive player in the league. It factored in all of those hurries, hits, this, that and the other. You have to remember that we used a heavy rotation back then too with Geathers, Rucker, Fanene... I know guys like Watt weren't quite up to their full potential yet back then either, but that was only Dunlap's 2nd season too...

Full disclosure... I have to admit that I thought he was loafing and mailing it in early last year. I remember zoning out on him and Whitworth during the Rams game. It looked like they both agreed to take the game off during warm ups... Dunlap came out swinging after the bye though. He's already been paid, and the season was lost. That effort says a lot about him.

Yeah... Some people just focus on sacks (even then, he's the damn franchise leader), but he does so much more. He's won games on FG blocks. He strips the ball. He plays the run, and sets the edge. There was a stretch early in his career that he was scoring TDs at games when I was in attendance.

He's strong as shit too... Remember how he'd get those horse collar penalties for getting his fingertips in someone's pads (one handed) as he was going down?

It's not a stretch to think he might be number one either. He went down for the season on Halloween in 2013, and was a shell of himself while he recovered the following year. I expect I big rebound year (stats wise) for Geno this year with DJ Reader lined up next to him... If not, Reader is gonna feast. It's a win/ win.

Was thinking of Dunlap as a snub for sure, those stats sure help to support that thought.

Stats don't even tell the whole story with Dunlap cause he is just so damn disruptive.

Dunlap is better than Cam Jordan and Clowney IMO.

Honestly I've not seen enough of Clowney to totally agree with you... But I'll say this much; Clowney was the number 1 overall pick, and if he's better than Dunlap, it's hardly noticable.
