Looking through their grades they seem to grade everyone pretty high. Burrow not getting an A+ is pretty ridiculous though. Yet they gave 2 other guys in the 1st an A+

Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah both gave Wilson glowing reviews

If Burrow is constantly under pressure or God forbid gets hurt because they can't protect him, then they will look incompetent for not upgrading the line.

Looks like they made their choice.  Hope they are right.

Good god, give it a rest dude...

Steelers taking a lot of Maryland players the last few years. Not sure that’s the team I’d be using as a talent pipeline even if some of the guys are decent

They started the day with 13 draft picks.

I want Blankenship because of those iconic glasses!

I think he didn't get an A+ because it was a known pick.  IDK, I have seen them be pretty brutal on some other teams picks.  For example they gave the Browns a lot of Bs including their first pick Willis Jr.   Steelers got a fair amount of B's and a C  Ravens are all B's a C and a D+. They also hammered the Pats with some C's and an F for picking a kicker.  Just a few of the teams I looked at via CBS scores.

Edit: By the way I'm going off their draft tracker so far here

You can choose all picks and then by team to see the grades for each team. Again I don't give it much weight but found it interesting.

In round 7 we need to draft Lamar Jackson, CB from Nebraska to add some fun to the division

Or AJ Green from Oklahoma State

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Wow. Two kickers drafted and neither one is Blankenship.

Interesting. I’ve thought the Ravens are killing it.

It would be pretty hard to get on the Pats about kickers.

They most likely are doing well.  I'm just going by the only live grades I have seen so far.  Again just found it interesting as the Bengals are getting high grades.  CBS isn't actually the #1 in draft grading after all.  Plus they often have a regrading the draft a year later sort of thing and how they were wrong. But unlike Pro Football Talk blah, blah at least CBS owns up to their early grades and where they made mistakes. :)

The Bengals spent the 3rd highest of any team in free agency this year. In order to keep Dalton and be under the cap, who do you cut? We have to keep some space to sign our draft picks and the signing bonus they are most likely going to give Burrow is going to be substantial.

I'm saying folks are just making up the only way Andy stays here if he takes a paycut. Tobin had said from jump any decision made on Andy will not be based on money. We've signed players but we've also released players. Folks were saying "Andy's going to JAX", hell Jax is still taking a cap hit of #18 Mil for a player not on their team. The Bengals have lots of moves they can make if they want to free up cap.

Burrow is going to sign for the rookie scale.

Why not. TE might be our weakest position group now that we’ve addressed LB. Maybe tied with OG.

I'm not against him, but I think my homer is showing with wanting the Bengals to grab Ahmad Wagner(UK) as a UFA TE prospect.
