Patrick is a shock, thought he was in based on camp reports. Also Dolegala is a surprise since he was on roster in 2019. It all points to us grabbing either Rosen or another vet QB. My money now just went on Rosen.
I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

my prediction is they try to get him on the PS and Samjae Perine lands as the 3rd or 4th back. I heard he had a great camp

Shocked at Patrick? I think there is a significant chance we only keep 3, in which case T. Williams is the 3rd guy most likely. And Perine was a guy we had before & claimed again this year, so the coaches like him.
Think we keep 4 and Patrick goes to the PS.
I know you are on the Rosen train, but I just think Dolegala is a PS guy and always was. We have too many guys who can actually contribute to justfy rostering a clipboard holder type this year. And that is a good thing. 2 QBs on the 53 only.

I didn't see any big surprises released yet. I'm for the 2 QB on the 53 list also. Upgrading Finley's spot shouldn't be hard but I'm not sure they will go there.

63. And now Wilcox. 3 TEs a certainty unless we claim another.
I wonder if the order the players are released is significant at all? Or if it is just random in terms of what gets leaked to journos first?

Me, neither. I mean, I had Rose making my 53, but I knew he was a fringe guy. I thought McTyer & Schreck could make the 53, Dolegala as well. But they were all obviously bubble guys.
If Waynes is on the 53, one of those guys could still make the roster once he gers IRed.

I'd be surprised if Erickson, Thomas, T. Williams, Kareem, Redmond, Adeniji, or Bailey got cut. Maybe Evans given the Calitro deal.

Now up to 13 today with Wilcox & Franks released.
Updated waivers from today = 13. Dolegala (QB), Allen (QB), Patrick (RB), Irwin (WR), Lodge (WR), Schreck (TE), Franks (TE), Wilcox (TE), Knipfel (OT), Akinmoladun (DE), Dishon (DT), McTyer (CB), Rose (CB).
If we roster Waynes, 10 more to go, assuming we don't sign anyone new.

Bold move, we should cut Huber and Bullock because this team ain't gonna punt and we ain't gonna settle for 3, nor 1 when we can go for 2!

Seems we will roster him at final cuts so that we can bring him back off IR later in the season if possible. If we were going to put him on IR before cuts, we probably would've done it by now.

This final roster is difficult to predict without a preseason. I don’t know about the rest of you but having eyes on players in a game against another team helps immensely.
