Reds organization has a group surgical procedure scheduled for tomorrow to remove their position player's nuts from their guts.
Votto was on the team that had three chances to win one against the Giants and couldn't do it, on the team Halladay shut out in the playoffs and now, on the team who couldn't score a single run in a best two of three series.

Yep. It's hard not to. The hitting coach should not be allowed on the team flight out of Atlanta.

This is why we can't have nice things as Cincinnati sports fans.

You wanna shut out the Reds? Start anybody with a good curve. You want a dead certainty? Make sure he's a rookie.
Is it possible to just keep the pitching staff and get rid of everybody else? It shouldn't be too hard to assemble another team of .200 hitters without one ounce of clutch.

I heard somewhere our hitting coach was like a .158 lifetime hitter or something.

Well, no wonder he got the job, being such an expert on hitting.
Looks like the rout will be on now.

If you're pitching for this shit show, how do you keep from going into the dugout between innings and totally losing your shit?
We pitched a twelve inning shutout in a playoff game and you assholes couldn't score one ***** run??!!

So 13 innings yesterday, NO RUNS....6 innings today, NO RUNS
and Reds pitching is doing a great job against the tough Braves hitters.
Reds are just wasting the great pitchers they have
All these Reds .200 batting averages are killing them now. I like Suarez homers, but his .200 batting average every year stinks.
Reds couldn't hit in 2019 either. All .200 batting averages except for Iggey at short who they didn't keep.
Reds are setting a play-off record for NO RUNS at all in a play-off series.

Hi, we're the Reds. We are a professional sports team. We represent Cincinnati. We don't just suck in a loss. We suck on a historic level.
We are doing our part, right there with the Bengals. to ensure that the whole country can never stop laughing at our little town.
WTF did we ever do to earn this kind of infamy? Do the Reds and Bengals consult with each other over how to keep being an embarrassment to the poor bastards who keep supporting these miserable organizations?

Only a team from Cincinnati could so thoroughly take the shine off making an improbable run to get to the playoffs in such gut punching fashion.
I'm really getting close to the point of walking away from the Bengals and the Reds for good. When the question is asked--why do I put myself through the anguish, I literally have no answer other than I have no idea.

***** Dumpster Fire
I want to start a legit petition to change all Cincinnati based "sports" (I use the term lightly as bad as they all suck) franchises to the Dumpster Fires.

Teams lose. It's a fact of life. All but one team in this thing will lose.
But why oh why, sweet Jebus, do Cincinnati teams insist on including some form of humiliation.
Once again, the rest of the country is saying WTF are these guys doing in the playoffs.

If I owned this team, those guys would all be finding their own way home from Atlanta. You can't score one ***** run... one run... in two games plus 4 extra innings...
That is beyond bush league.

Alan Zinter was the Padres hitting coach for 2 years and they were one of the worst hitting teams in the league during those 2 years.
Hiring never made sense.
EDIT: Reminder that somehow Ohio declined to accept a petition to make being a Cincinnati sports fan a valid reason for needing medical marijuana, and how short sighted that decision was.

Nicholas Castellanos--lifetime .274 hitter. One shortened year in Cincinnati turns him into a .220 hitting strike out machine.
Mike Moustakas--lifetime .251 hitter with a WS ring. One shortened year in Cincinnati turns him into a .230 hitting choke artist.
On a side note--can somebody please tell Shogo that it goes like this--swing and hit the ball and then run. This is not girls softball.

The Braves starters ERA was over 5 for the season, the highest by a team that made the post-season.
THAT team just shut out our pathetic Reds for 22 innings.
Only users lose drugs.

I wonder if it is possible to actually petition the County and get them to cancel next year's opening day parade.
Losers shouldn't get parades, and maybe a statement like that would at least embarrass ownership.

What will actually happen is that next year they will be called a 2020 playoff team so many times that all our heads will explode from hearing it.
