This is klotsch right so nothing is too stupid?
Anyway has anyone else noticed a weird tendency of late for people to use "myself" incorrectly. I see it all the time and for some reason it bugs me. I feel like people are trying to convey a sense of formality or something, but I've started noticing it over maybe the last year. "Myself and some others went out to dinner." "Bob, Jim and myself all went to the party." "Myself" is used when you are the subject and the direct object. "I cut myself with a knife." Has anyone else noticed this?

You can go to live in France, but you cannot become a Frenchman. You can go to live in Germany or Turkey or Japan, but you cannot become a German, a Turk, or a Japanese. But anyone, from any corner of the Earth, can come to live in America and become an American
