***Week 11 GameDay Thread - Bengals @ Washington***

You do realize that wasn't a cumulative injury don't you. He had already delivered the ball and was hit low. Would have been better if he gotten "blown up".

i get folks are pissed so I'll just let it lie.

Finley looks like a deer caught in the head lights, what are you waiting for, throw the ball or run

I would have to imagine. I don’t see them winning another game this year. Maybe the Giants.

Maybe not the best idea to that with a bad Oline vs a good Dline, on a day your franchise QB has been drilled multiple times.

The more attempts the more chances for something bad like that to happen.  The kids been getting hit all year yet he leads the league in pass attempts.

And making it all the worse it's a 9-7 game. Why throw the ball 50+ times in a game like that?

Exactly this, I have never wanted a head coach fired as bad as I want ZT to be fired today.

This is not only bad for the Bengals but for football, too. I can't watch anymore.

Nope. MJ got bowled over and blocked the guy right into Burrows knee. 100% on ZT and MJ.

Joe will come back, but will his mobility be the same?

His legs are a big part of his game.

People WHO SIGNS the OLINEMEN?????  WHO??????  You want fault???  Look for the cheap ass that tries to find a bargain.  THAT is who is to blame.  What owner in their right mind would NOT go out and get quality free agents to protect a newly drafted franchise QB??

Best d line in the league vs the worst o-line. That’s what happens

Somewhere, someone is saying to himself "I knew Joe Burrow should have refused to play for Cincinnati. It would go very badly for him." If the Burrow injury ends things for a long period, I would think another QB would also look at this.

Or will he end up Alex Smith 2.0?

Ultra optimistic take would involve getting a high enough pick to trade for a haul to a team looking for a QB, rebuilding the team around Burrow, getting a real coaching staff, and...what the hell...Finley does well enough that we trade him to a dumbass team for a pick as well.

Best to wait and find out what the injury is.

It's a percentage thing numbnuts. The more hits he takes the more likely he's going to get injured

All I need is a cup and helmet, and I could play like Finley.

FWIW, that is Jordan getting walked back, again. Too tall for a G.

Priorities now:
1) Burrow's health
2) Clean house in FO (Katie, Tobin) and coaching staff (ZT, Lou, Turner).
3) Get folks who understand football philosophically. Invest in the lines. Soft does not get it done in this division.
4) Evaluate young guys from here.

Injuries are part of game...we should know that with good players going out.
