Burrow & Bengals Career Passing Leaders

Please entertain my boredom and excuse this thread if it is disinteresting. Since Burrow's rookie year unfortunately ended early, I wanted to see where he stacks up on the Bengals career passing leaders after one season. I think the all-time franchise QB stats are interesting to explore since the Bengals have typically had longevity at the QB position (Anderson to Esiason to Palmer to Dalton with other guys peppered in like Blake and Kitna). Resulting from this is that Burrow can quickly enter the top rankings.

No other Bengals QB has thrown for more than 10,000 yards. Burrow ranks 10th with 2,688 passing yards.

Hopefully Burrow has a speedy recovery and can start to bring home more wins for the franchise. I think it will be interesting to see where he ranks among the top Bengals greats of Anderson, Esiason, Palmer, and Dalton.

Edit: I also recognize it is difficult to compare stats from different eras, but it's still fun to look at.

I thought it best to bump a thread rather than start a new one. Since Zac is resting Burrow this week for the playoffs, Burrow's '21 - '22 regular, and second season, is over. Burrow has obviously moved up on the list for accumulated stats.

Burrow's upcoming seasons will have him pass Kitna and Blake on the all-time list for many statistical categories. In a few years he'll likely become the 5th Bengals QB to throw for 100+ TDs.

Sadly, Burrow is already 7th on the all-time list for the number of times he's been sacked at 83. This has him tied with Klingler and only 9 behind Kitna.

For Interceptions, Burrow is 9th on the list with 19 for his career. That is 1 behind Virgil Carter and 2 behind David Klingler. His Int% is 2.1%. For comparison, Anderson = 3.6%, Boomer = 3.7%, Palmer = 3.1%, and Dalton = 2.7%.

Obviously, there are other stats and ways to analyze a QB we could explore, so feel free to mention them if you want.

Kitna did play with better lines, his whole time here, so that number isn't too surprising.

Good compiling of stats though; it'll be fun to keep track of.
