Next Bengals H.O.F.er

I know the Bengals don't get many inductions, but I think its time this team is noticed for players that were just as good as players of today. These players I feel should be inducted, Ken Anderson, Ken Riley, and Reggie Williams.

Love Reggie Williams, but he is no where close to HOF material.

Lemar Parrish should get in before any Bengal not named Ken Anderson.

Parrish held to NFL record for career return TDs for almost 20 years until Deion Sanders passed him.

Parrish still has the highest single season Punt Return Average since the AFL/NFL merger (18.8 in '74)

8 time Pro Bowl and not just as a return specialist. He finished in the top 6 in the league in interceptions 3 times and is in the top 50 all time. First team CB on ProFootballReference's 1970's All Decade team.

I wouldn't think Corey Dillion would be in. He was a good RB, and he did break Jim Brown's single game rushing record for a rookie. Dillion did that on a cold sunday night against the Oilers. And it was for 200+ yrds.

The NFL Hall of Fame? Very, very highly unlikely a Bengal makes it anytime soon or even within the next 10 years.

Willie Anderson is a modern-era semifinalist this year. I hope he makes it.

But it his first year as a semifinalist so not likely this year unfortunately.

Dillon is 20th all time in rushing yards with over 11,200 and 18th in rushing TD's, and he did it on some REALLY bad Bengals teams before moving on to New England for a few years.

I was just listening to a podcast that said how the Bengals "beat themselves" on a drive....I guess it is contagious?

I agree with you that Reggie Kelly should be next. Best blocking TE in NFL history

Geno yes, Whitworth I'm not too sure of.... he was a second team All Pro once, but never 1st team. 4 Pro Bowls. Not sure that cuts it for a tackle
