All three would make a ton of sense to me. We need speed on the edges.

I think you can do either or both maybe, sign a OL and WR as FA and then draft DL or LB.. Tackle FA is going cost more probably than WR FA.

They are targeting OL in FA acquisitions. Probably going to go for guard and right tackle. Idk how much they will cost with the diminished cap and how much space the bengals have since they will work to extend some of there own players, so I bet it’s going to be wr or te in 1st.

I agree no to all those. Just draft a few, love chase you take him if sewell is gone. I want OL more than Wr tho.

Price was no a reach, he was projected mid 1st round area.. lets not try to rewrite history because he did not work out.

Sign OBJ. Draft Chase. We'll have an LSU offensive reunion.
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

Why are you so sure he is gone?
Last mock I read
Lawrence
Fields
Chase to Dolphins
BYU's QB to Falcons
Jags, Jets and Falcons all have new head coaches coming in and 2 of 3 have no QB, the 3rd the Falcons have an aging Matt Ryan.
Remember the Fins took tackles in round 1 and round 2 last year, so they really aren't in the market for Sewell.
There is actually a decent chance he is sitting there at 5 and with no Jim Turner, it is a great pick.

The phins and jets are making this a weird draft.
The jets have several needs and could take anybody at their spot. The phins have fewer needs and could do anything.
It's going to be a roller coaster draft. In part because there's not a great qb class but a qb need from a couple of the teams picking top 5. I wouldn't be shocked to see the phins and jets both try to trade back.

Very true and the more teams that trade back, the better it is for the Bengals. Teams aren't likely to give up their 1st round pick next year to move up and take a T or a WR or a LB. Teams moving into the top 5 are looking for their QB of the future. If 3 of them go, the Bengals are set with one of the top not QB guys certain to be there.

Sorry but it will be chase or smith . Write it down and book it. I think they will go chase though, burrow will tell them too and they already have chemistry.

All you guys talking about draft stautus are wasting your time. The evaluation process has not even started. History proves that rankings change a lot between the end of the season and the draft. It happens every year.

Another flat out burner.
Also in our price range.
We already have two excellent WRs. Although I understand we probably need to add a guy we don't want to use a high draft pick or tons of free agent money one of the few positions were we already have talent.

Yes, lets not rewrite history.
He was a late-first round/second round prospect.

Another center!? The Bengals could use Billy Price at guard, which might actually be a more natural position for him. Either way, Cincinnati needs multiple upgrades to the offensive line.

Billy Price, G/C, Ohio State. Price injured his pec at the combine and had surgery to repair it, but he should be fine for the start of the season. He should immediately plug into a guard slot for Indy.

After adding a wide receiver and safety, the Dallas Cowboys address their left guard spot. They go for Ohio State’s Billy Price, who should be gone before this, except for suffering a partially torn pectoral muscle during the bench press drill. So many teams panic about an injury, but Dallas takes a shot and gets a guy that can start at guard and serve as the reserve center.

30. Minnesota Vikings: OL Billy Price, Ohio State
It’s not easy to find many holes on the talent-rich Vikings roster, but after veteran lineman Joe Berger announced his retirement last month, the interior offensive line moved up toward the top of the list of needs. Price would be a nice fit in Minnesota: He’s versatile, tough, and athletic—and assuming the pectoral injury he suffered at the combine isn’t too serious, he could compete for a starter’s job at either guard spot while providing depth at center behind Pat Elflein.

I haven't really seen him much this year, but from what I've seen OBJ is kind of done ala AJ Green. Maybe he played better in games I didn't see? I haven't watched any NFL games this year except the Bengals.

He got hurt during our second game against them. Missed the rest of the season. He’s definitely not even close to falling off like AJ. He’s only 28, and certainly still a top WR.

He was projected 1/2 Center off the board.. at 21st pick.. it was a spot most saw him going .. Bengals picked him as 2nd Center.

He was totally not a reach at 21.. and we needed a center.. it just did not work out

Godwin is a beast, but will command big time money. Money that could instead be spent on OL. On a team that doesn't have 8 big name receiving targets, he would have put up much bigger numbers in 2020 so I think he's going to get paid.
Still think that the answer is to just go WR with Chase at #5 if Sewell isn't there. It'll be about 4yr/$31m, with a 5th year option. That's more than $1m less than Sammy Watkins/Adam Humphries/Randall Cobb money. FA WRs are expensive (though we don't know how FA will roll out this offseason with the cap shrinking).

Set your sights lower on WRs IMO.
None of the WRs you mention are going to want to go into a situation where they are WR3.
Someone will pay them to be a WR1/2, and I hope it's not the Bengals because they need to spend that kind of money on OL and defense.
If they get a WR, I'd look for someone in the $5 mill or less APY range.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!
