Bengals’ run defense sucked last year. Injuries contributed to that. Shelvin most likely will rotate with Reader to keep both fresh to clog the middle and provide pressure up the middle.

Folks, first of all a blind person saw this coming. Second, our head coach has said he's happy with the OL. After the Carman pick he essentially made it sound like we're done with that position group with how happy he is with where it's at. I'm not saying they won't draft another, but I won't be surprised if they don't. Reaching for a 3rd-4th round OL in the 2nd was a major win evidently.

Yep, and fully cleared medically.

Sled would have homered the pick no matter who it was. It’s not a pro-Chase agenda.

Sorry, Stewey, you're wrong. Camp Chase has been ridiculous in this thread. Some worse than other, but still it has been bad.

It's all bad. Team Sewell vs. Team Chase was the worst thing to happen to the fan base since Mike Brown taking ownership of the Bengals.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good drama filled rant.

That's probably a fair take. Just saying, he's been way overboard with his chase to hold Ja'Marr's jock.

Still waiting for a single example of the “gloating” that’s supposedly going on...

Quote them. Put up or shut up, cause I haven't seen it.
Being happy about a pick isn't gloating FYI.

Meh, if that's your oppinion then nothing anyone can say will change it unless you want it to be changed. Naming and shaming isn't going to help.

People overrate draft picks sometimes. Carmen’s tape looks terrible at times but he also stonewalls defenders and gets great push when he can get his hands on you. A little bit of NFL coaching might turn him into a pretty good guard.

nice educated answer since we only have drafted one Oline coming back from surgery to switching to guard which he has never played I could see a possibility opening day he is not starting.. and lets be honest the odds are in my favor since we have 1 Oline taken out of first 5 picks to start.

I think he probably sits this year and develops. If he plays significant snaps this season I would be surprised.

I don't know what to think of this last pick in the fourth round I know the Bengals need more wide receivers they need probably another running back and of course o line but damn it please take a kicker somewhere

With these last 2 draft picks & the off season moves, Lou & our defense are quickly running out of excuses not to be much better this year.

Yeah, it really transcended the usual "my guy is best" scraps. I think because the pick represented a vision of the direction of the franchise and how best to get there. I would actually be interested in seeing an age breakdown for the posters on each side. Could really be an old school vs new school divide. Maybe we should have a poll later where you can choose your team and age bracket.

Good lord...there are a few people bitching on Twitter that thought Bobby Hart is still our RT. If you don't even know who's on the roster...you give up the right to complain.

Joe, after seeing all the injuries last season on the DL and the guys we had to trot out there, how can you say that isn't a priority? These OT coming up here are all developmental projects. Taking them in the first 2 picks today would have been a huge reach IMO.

I haven't seen a lot of it, but could be wrong. For every Team Chase post I see gloating, I see 10 posts of Team Sewell whining/trolling.
