WELCOME Cameron Sample, DE, Tulane
#1
Ist of 3 picks in round 4.

ESPN says plays with a high motor. CBS SPORTS says great Leverage, Nice Pass Rush Moves

So far 2 Offense, 2 Defense

He kicked ass at the senior bowl and had a lot of instant wins over some big names. Senior Bowl defensive MVP too. I’m a fan.

Saw the last name Sample and cringed. Sounds like a solid player though.

What if the Bengals are actually satisfied with their OL and just wanted to get one upgrade at OG?
I don't agree with it, but it's possible they feel that way.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

We have two Samples.  Must save on Jersey lettering somehow...

It’s obvious they feel that way

I don't think I've seen any OT go off the board today. Could still be in play @139.  C. Sample is a beast and love this pick!

Is that why in our last 4 drafts we have used 2 firsts and a second on O-linemen?

They may not be 100% satisfied, but at this point in the draft there is more value in going BPA.

Why reach for a guy who already has a fourth/fifth round grade?

Posted a tweet in the draft thread that said exactly that.

After the Carman pick

Five spots on the line. Picks that busted are irrelevant.

Because that means they were never drafted?

Unfortunately I think that is a re-tweet from the second day of the draft last year.

Has to be a high level of concern if we leave the draft with only 1 OL.

At least, I would hope it is a high level of concern.

Because we still need to replace them obviously.

If we drafted 3 bust qbs 3 years in a row we’d still need a qb right? Your logic would have them still rolling out some corpse. But good try homer.

My logic says nothing like that.

Your logic says that if we draft QB three years in a row that means we hate drafting QBs.

BTW this year we have used two picks in the first four rounds on O-line.
