Source: Cuban RHP Vladimir Gutierrez (25) is promoted to MLB from Cincinnati Reds, Triple-A. Gutierrez was 2-0, 2.65 in three starts at Louisville. He becomes the 221st Cuban to reach MLB and the 2nd to debut in 2021.

Replace Castillo with him, couldn't be any worse.

I thought maybe Hoffman baby had a decent outing last time.  I think they're going to keep with Castillo that have a short leash and use this guy.

Starting Friday to fill in for Wade Miley who is on the DL.

If he does well, it is the perfect chance to send Castillo down for a start or two and get himself straightened out when Miley comes off the DL.
