Yeah he shouldn't only be given 1st team reps just because of his draft position when he has played as poorly as he as so far in preseason.   He needs to get as much turf under his cleats in preseason as possible.

Great defense in the first half. The 1st teamers were dominant. The 2nds played well too for the mot part.

The offense is another story. Allen and Chase both had very poor showings. I agree with the other posters who said put Chase in there he has to knock off the rust. Perine doesnt impress me. We have to get the run game going. Feed it to the big guy Patrick.

Chase looking good...on the halftime profile on local tv, that is. Maybe we need to throw an LSU uni on him.

This was obviously not what anyone (besides the most ardent Team Sewell folks) want to see, but I’m going to try and not panic unless it’s actually happening with Burrow. Not blaming Allen (Chase has to catch the damn ball), but he certainly wasn’t helping either.

Pretty wacky seeing Burrow sit while Mahommes, Murray, and Fitzpatrick play.

Btw that screen to Mixon to open the game was sick. Great call and execution. The hold on Spain was weak as f. That bad call, Chase's 1st drop and Reiff false starting killed a drive that should have started out with a big play. Kind of set the tone right away for the O.

So it looks like another good pass protection outing, but Chase dropping three balls at least two of which would have been first downs plus Allen just looking bad are the down points.
