I had already seen the news, so I knew what the thread was about.

But steeping down from that committee is a big first step towards walking away from it all. If he had any intention to continue running the organization, he would want to keep that position so that he could be involved with aligning the league's position with his own.

For a guy who's taken a very active role and a lot of pride in his connections and roles within the league (riding on dad's coat tails), I see this as an other step in the right direction for his involvement in the team.

And come on, y'all... there was no way this was an official announcement of a full team retirement, out of the blue, no news conference and only one poster mentioning it (even if it is Pally, always on top of the news!).

Yes, that was a trick on us.  I thought there had to be some kind of trick to this post.

I hate to get excited at the mention on Mike Brown retiring, but he hasn't won a play-off game since his Dad Paul Brown died, and he has had more 4 win seasons or less than any other owner over the last 30 years. I think that is worse than the no play-off wins, the amazing amount of awful 4 wins or less seasons from 1991 to 2021.  Many seasons that were over by October 1st, and the Fans giddy over thinking a top draft pick will solve everything next season, such as Ki-Jana Carter or Akili Smith.

It was all in jest, Mike Brown isn't going anywhere... Hilarious Hilarious HammerSmackDead HorseWastedFacepalm

And yet, he still will find a way to molest the fans from beyond the grave.
