Is there a position the Bengals could add a FA ?

Just saw where Richard Sherman signed with
The Buccaneers. Doesnt hurt to add a depth piece
And a savy vet at.that.
Is there a position on this team where you can
Envision the front office maybe adding a FA
Later on? Myself I wouldnt mind seeing the team
Look into a FA CB or maybe a S.

Center.

Maybe RB depending on how long Mixon is out.

Duke Johnson would be a big upgrade over Perine.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Shady McCoy in a wheelchair would be a big upgrade over Perrine.

We have RB's on the PS. Trayveon would do great till he got hurt again.

We seem to be really good at getting solid guys at pass rusher (DT or DE) off the scrap heap.

BJ Hill and Wyatt Rey have been real finds. No one is talking about Wyatt Rey because he hasn't got the sack but he has been relentless in pressure.

RB if this team wants to continue being effective running the ball and also Mixon insurance.
I like Evans, but I wouldn't give him workhorse carries if Mixon were out, and I don't think Perine is dynamic enough to be a game changer. He's more like a hammer to get a few yards.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Duke Johnson peaked years ago as a check down
Specialist for the Browns.
He cant break tackles and is easily brought down
1st contact. He has no value,as a RB now

I'd kick the tires on a vet like Peterson or Gurley if Mixon is going to miss much time. Need that threat in the backfield to keep a defense honest.

Was about to say RB, but everyone already covered that.

Not a FA, but Indy is desperate to trade Marlon Mack. I'd see if they want the 7th we got for Billy Price for him.

That seems a little harsh of a summary for a guy whose career is pretty similar to Gio's. Every year of Duke's career (outside of last year) was better than Perine's best year. For a guy who goes down on first contact, he's averaged 4.2 ypc for his career.

And its always nice having a RB who is exceptional as a pass catcher.

Another guy worth a look, but he hasn't shown much since that ACL tear. Of course, the Colts haven't given him many chances to show anything.
