The vast Packers fanbase braces for a visit to the jungle. The early consensus seems to be a predictable one: the Bengals are a 3-1 team to be respected who can present challenges, especially to the Packers defense, but the Packers should find a way to get out with a win. I don't think that's an unreasonable view for Green Bay fans to have. These are teams that play each other only every four years whose games week to week usually have minimal impact upon one another's fortunes. They pay little attention to us as we do to them (though perhaps we pay more just by virtue of their prime time presence).
Where I think they truly underestimate their opponent is with the Bengals' defense. That's been a recurring theme early in the season. A few of them have taken notice and are especially concerned about how their banged up offensive line is going to deal with Hendrickson, Hubbard, and company. We seem to be catching the Packers at a good time in general considering the injuries they're dealing with, especially as we get healthy out of our extended week.
One thing about the Packers fanbase is that they don't really have to "travel" to be prominently represented in the stands on the road. They're everywhere. It'll be up to the Cincinnati fans in attendance to minimize their relevance.

Found this gem on the first thread from "Cincinnati Smeagol."
Hi guys! Long-time Bengals fan here. Not here to start problems. You will be the first good (playoff caliber) team the Bengals will play this year. Just curious how we are seen in another (unbiased/non-AFC North) team's eyes. The way I see it is a close game would be our best chance. Rodgers is a mega-stud, no doubt there. I just hope the Bengals would show up and give you a competitive game, win or lose. I'm really excited about this game!

Bengals have beaten Rogers before. They can do it again. That is all..

Thanks for doing this bro. I'VE always enjoyed going to the opponents boards.. Esp after we win lol.. They usually start out saying we will kill the Bungals and by the end they are saying, " I can't believe the Bungals beat us. The season is over." Lol, good stuff...

I think smeagol was a poster on the original jungle noise on the main page years ago. Not sure if he made his way here ever though...

If I’m a Green Bay fan I say all the politic stuff and then predict a win. They are probably right. For the most part the Bengals are a 1:00 regional game, and they probably don’t know a ton about the Bengals outside of knowing Burrow is here.

When you have a premier QB you expect a chance to win at least

The only real question is who is going to run out on the field the last drive to distract Rodgers during his final game winning drive, causing their loss?
