Clearly you do, as you addressed my post with the usual.
BTW, you can downvote every post I make, but when I get a bunch of rep for each one you downvote, I kinda think some people agree with my (and others') POV on things?
Ever think of that?

Not really because I know your rep when it comes to how passionate you are about "downvoting" folks, and how meaningful that is to you (we all do), which is why I throw it back at you and it clearly triggers you (you put too much into that).
Besides there's no glory in getting reps from the same 2 people over and over and over again. I know the peanut gallery, as they never take opinions that differ from theirs well. Now back on topic please.

CJ out there looking like Gronk. I don't care what nobody say, if he had Burrow his whole career as a Bengal (or at least Hue - a OC who used TE's), he'd be thought of as a better TE for us then Eifert.
Time for us to elevate CJ in Bengaldom glory and quit underestimating him. He can put up big yards and TD's and may break Eifert's best numbers if this keeps up.

He’s been great. I love that he’s broken a tackle on almost all of his TD. Looks very hard to bring down.

Nah. Uzomah is having a great season, but Eifert would have been insane with a QB like Burrow.

He has really came into his own as down
The field threat.he was rarely featured at Auburn.
He might be the most improved player on this roster

If he keeps this up I'll eat my words. Also his attitude and enthusiasm is great. A real team guy.
Guys looking like a monster right now.

Logan Wilson. CJ is probably a close 2nd though (if you don’t count Spain since he’s older).

Interesting debate.
I think we also need to look at these 2 TE's in terms of value.
Eifert, a 1st round draft choice had unbelievable talent, had a great 2015 but ended up suffering some bad injuries that ultimately cut short a very promising career.
CJ, a 5th round draft choice has worked his tail off to become a very good TE. Also, suffered a bad injury but has intangibles in addition to playmaking ability - appears to be a great teammate and locker room guy.
From a value standpoint I personally like what we have in CJ Getting what we're getting from a 5th round pick is more than I think any of us thought we'd get when he was drafted. And I'm a big Eifert fan, still wear his jersey every Sunday.

When Andy Dalton was at Quarterback,I think most would agree that Uzomah Was a decent TE.Average.But,,,,with Joe Burrow,You’re talking a whole new situation here.Burrow can light him up,as we have seen. It’s already apparent that he and Burrow have good chemistry together.Uzomah was limited by being on a not so good team, with a not so good Quarterback. He’s already proven he can get it done.He deserves more Targets. He only had 3 targets against the Ravens, but, look at the results.

I've never underestimated him from the moment he was drafted.

Can go on.
He's still not better than Eifert.

I don't think he got better from last year. I think we are just seeing it. He and Joe last season had 8 receptions in 2 games. Then CJ got hurt. We are seeing what could have been last year

I've said in the past CJ looks like he's running in molasses, when he's really not slow for a guy his size, he just looked like he's lumbering down the field. I swear he looks faster to me after his Achilles repair.

Eifert at the top of his game was better, and as much as I like CJ, it's not really close

Currently agree … but CJ is closing fast.
IMO, Eifert had incredible hands and made some of the most contested catches.

I freely admit I was not a CJ Uzomah fan when he was drafted. I remember at the combine watching him move it looked so robotic and stiff you could see he wasn't a good route runner.
...but you can tell that isnt the case anymore. Watch this route vs Humphrey.
CJ releases inside but starts working his way to the sideline leaning into Humphrey which is what creates the separation he needed when he broke back to the post route.

Eifert was a much more polished WR, yet "TD Uzomah" is exactly what we need presently and love that he is full of confidence this early in the year.

Yet factor in the fact that CJ is not made of thin glass and he surpasses Eifert quickly.
