Who would win if both teams were healthy and faced each other?

Andy vs. Joe? No contest. Joe by a mile.

Hell, 2021 would win on penalties alone.

2021. Not even close. Marvin’s team might play well for a bit but inevitably collapse as soon as something bad happens. His teams were never mentally tough.

It's kind of shocking that so many are saying 2021 would beat the 2015 Bengals.
Perhaps they forgot how good that team was.

2015:
7th in scoring offense
2nd in scoring defense

Before Dalton went down, they were 10-2.

That team, with Dalton, had Green, Eifert, Marvin Jones, Sanu, Bernard, Hill, Whitworth, Boling, Zeitler, Andre Smith, Burfict, Adam Jones, Nelson, Atkins, Dunlap, Michael Johnson, Hall, Iloka.

As much as I've been impressed with the 5-2 start this year, I don't have confidence that the 2021 team could beat the 2015 team (with Dalton at QB).
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Good point. 1pm and the 2015 Bengals might have a chance, but I think our 2021 defense would be the difference maker pressuring Dalton and we all know what happens when Dalton is pressured.

the thing that really stands out to me on the current team is the adjustments being made during the game and the build up of momentum as the game progresses with bigger plays ....something the ML teams never did well.

2015 offensive line was freaking loaded. They could handle the current DL and the top DL in football this year.

This. That team was pretty stacked. The way that season ended is etched into my cornea. I still get sad thinking about that playoff game.

The 2015 team was incredible before Dalton's injury. I don't think it should be discounted, especially not just because of the quarterback. Andy finished the year at 25 TDs and 7 INTs, and would have likely been in the MVP conversation had he made it to the finish line.

This 2021 team is off to a fantastic start, but they're not at 2015's level yet. 2015 had 7 wins of 2+ scores.

My HEART says 2021...
My HEAD says 2015, so I voted 2015.

Voted 2015 as they are a finished product... jury is still out on 2021 being the bi-polar person I am.

I voted 2021 Bengals primarily because of Joe Burrow versus Andy Dalton. When the heat is on,and the game is on the line,I’ll take Burrow over Dalton any day.

When Dalton got injured, they were 10-2.If Joe Burrow would have been as healthy as he is now,and the OL playing like they are now, from the beginning of the season, this team would be 7-0 now instead of 5-2.
The major difference is Joe Burrow against Andy Dalton. So I chose 2021 Bengals.
