First Bengals game in Vegas!
#1
Well I finally get to watch my team play live in Vegas. Flying down there tomorrow! I really hope they can pull out the W. One day I can't wait to come down to Cincy, check out the beautiful city, and watch my team play!

Glad to hear it...Hope you already have tickets, because they can be quite pricey there.

You gotta go to Cincy; even though they lost my first game (Cowboys, 2012), I left the city VERY impressed and have been back twice with my wife (won both of those games! Big Grin).

Hope you have a blast and they come out with a win! Big Grin

Yeah I already bought them a few weeks ago. When we were sure that we could cross the border. And they were really really pricy! Ironically we also got tickets for the CBJ game tomorrow. It will be nice to watch the Jackets beat those Knights! Hopefully we will get the weekend sweep!

Have an amazing time and bring them a win!

Don't visit here this time of year :)  I always love the city, but nothing touches the midwest in the fall.  Mid-October is usually perfection.

It was weird, I was looking in to seeing if I could make it work and I found tix for only a couple hundred, but the flights were really high.  I don't understand that as the flights I booked for florida were dirt cheap.  Much cheaper than normal.  Same time frame.

Not saying $200 is free, but the seats were pretty good and they were supposedly going for $1500 and up early on.

Same here also.  The flights and the weekend hotel prices were just too high for me.  That didn't even include the tickets.  I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks at a third of the cost instead.

Know nobody would want to wait until arrival to secure tickets. But am certain the casino's have lots of tickets available for any preferred customers they choose to give them to.

Most high rollers will have no desire to attend an NFL game imo and anyone inquiring may have a good shot at getting seats from a pit boss.

Yeah, before Covid, I took a GF to a concert of her favorite country singer, Chris Young, out in Vegas.

It was at the MGM Grand, and I had flights, room for the weekend, and the concert tickets for all around $700.  Our seats were also VIP with a private bathroom and bar.  (Which, btw, if you ever get a chance to catch a concert there....outstanding venue and so cool to walk out and you are at your hotel).

I was debating going with a friend and just watching the game at a sportsbook, but the flights were just way too much for me.

My best friend and I have a standing bet that if the Bengals ever win the Super Bowl, we will hold our annual draft party in Vegas.

MGM Grand is a nice hotel.  My brother and his wife always stay there.  The casino is huge to just walk from one end to the other. They have a good location with the tram/monorail there also.  I've been in Excalibur, Luxor, and New York New York.  Eventually MGM Grand is on the list.  I went to a concert, Aerosmith, in the Park MGM, pre Covid.  It's cool these groups don't have to travel.  They can just take up a residency and play in Vegas awhile.  Santana is in Vegas when I'm there and I'm considering them.

Kind of OT, but before the Raisers moved to Vegas I recommended that the NFL could go to 17 games with every team playing one game a year in Vegas.  That way every team would still have 8 home and 8 away games.

Flights to Vegas used to be cheap (I have not checked in a few years) and hotels were reasonable.  All they would have to do would be have a big name halftime show (someone already playing in Vegas that week), and they would have sold out every show with the fans from 2 teams and a few just regular tourists.

Flights are still cheap.  At least I think they are.  I can fly non stop from here at a cost round trip at about 120.00 total midweek...55 to 60 dollars each way.  Weekends are pricier at the hotels but during midweek they are much cheaper also.  The hotels vary in price.  Excalibur and Bally's are inexpensive compared to the Venetian or Bellagio as examples.

I cant help thinking about the anxiety on a  game in LV if we had those ML era projects still on team?  Pacman, Odell Thurman, Vontaze, Chris Henry, I know Im missing some more here

Eh... Those guys played in New Orleans though. Hell some of them are from there. Atlanta and Miami seem to have a reputation for great fun among the players in all leagues too. Frankly those dudes could get in trouble in church. Trouble clearly "finds" Pacman everywhere he goes.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

That would have been awesome had they listened.

Yeah surprisingly just walking around there seems to be a 50/50 split. I am sure that will change as we get to the stadium. But I will be representing for sure with my jersey lol
