Somehow, a full decade later, all four starting QBs from the 2011 AFCN season managed to take a good amount of snaps in the same week (and all do well). What's the odds of that?
Joe Flacco (36 y/o): 24/39, 291 yards (7.5 AVG), 2 TD/0 INT, 101.6 QB Rating
Andy Dalton (34 y/o): 11/23, 201 yards (8.7 AVG), 2 TD/0 INT, 107.3 QB Rating
Colt McCoy (35 y/o): 35/44, 328 yards (7.5 AVG), 2 TD/0 INT, 112.9 QB Rating
Ben Roethlisberger (39 y/o): 28/44, 273 yards (6.2 AVG), 3 TD/0 INT, 103.7 QB Rating

Haha this is a pretty cool occurrence, thanks for posting!
P.S. kinda cool seeing McCoy doing well after all this time. Never thought he’d do anything again after getting pulverized by James Harrison.

Wasn't even about him. Lol.. it was more about how crazy it is that a division can have 4 starting QBs and then a decade later all 4 play in games and play well.
The primary starting QBs in the AFCS in 2011 were Matt Schaub, Matt Hasselbeck, Blaine Gabbert, and Curtis Painter. Imagine if they all played and all had QB Ratings over 100 on the same week in 2021.

If Andy is willing to be a back up ?
Then the Bengals should sign him in offseason imo.

Always like McCoy and felt (like many others) he was a victim of being a good player on a really bad team. Glad to see him still doing it. Years ago I wanted him as a backup to Dalton. Thought he might have pushed Andy.
Flacco surprised me. I thought the guy was just drawing a paycheck.
Piggy showed that the Chargers defense is suspect. He is still a fat turd.
Interesting observation, BTW. Props.

Wasn't McCoy the guy that got multiple concussions in a single game?
If so I seem to remember thinking he wasn't bad and could have had a decent career had the browns not totally ruined him.

Yeah, took a hit from the silverback while he was at pitt that literally knocked him cold. Launched right in to his grill. It was a bad look for the NFL and I think it precipitated the rule change (or was one of many that did).
They kept showing it over and over. I think Harrison was fined a crazy amount for that hit, but of course, it wasn't flagged.

OP, I'm more impressed you made this connection than the actual occurrence happening. Fun tidbit.

Colt playing for the Texans?
Dalton almost played Raven killer again.... Ravens had to much time left after that great TD though

Cardinals
Went 2-1 while Murray and Hopkins were both out.

Not because I think Kingsbury is an overrated, pompous loser, but the Cards have had the luckiest sched by far and should have 2-3 more losses than they do, getting very lucky.
They only games they truly shone against a worthy opponent, were the Rams game and week 1 against the Titans, otherwise they:
- needed a fluke miss against Minnesota, AT HOME.
- barely beat a depleted and poor 9ers team at home (the "river in the sky," or whatever game, wasn't nearly as close).
- beat Houston, Jax and Seattle.
The combined record of the teams they've beaten (at this point in the season) is 43-49 and they lost to Carolina AT HOME. They may very well win the division, but don't think they'll make it past 1 playoff win, IMO.
As for McCoy, I didn't like him in college (again, thought he was overrated and a product of the system), loved that we pummeled him the first 3 times we played him and not a fan of him at all still.
BTW, great thread, TLL.

Damn, I forget sometimes how insane that 2011 AFCN was.
Still is in a way, since all 4 teams with a winning record. I wonder what the odds are of having all 4 teams in the AFCN go to the playoffs this year.

Considering there is another AFC division without a losing record as well.. Not likely lol
