Yes the complete ignoring of the run game is a head scratcher.

I do think they need to run the ball a little more, but again, the Bengals running game isn't very good. It has looked good so far today, but when Cinci is in a 14 point deficit against KC, I can already see people being LIVID if ZT starts running more and the Bengals start punting. The Bengals just aren't a great running team, but they are a really good passing team.

Run a little more to keep the defense from just pinning their ears back but this game is 100% in Burrow's hands.

This is Zac's and Callahan's biggest mistake to sling it out. Yes, we had 2 Chase TDs and a FG, but the chiefs will score at will none stop. they need to be off field if we have any chance.

We have to run to give the defense a chance to rest and to somehow make mahomes cold, it might be impossible but trying to keep up with a thoroughbred when you're still a pony...not happening

Many times play calling is based on what the coaches see in the defense formation/tendencies/scheme.  We don't see that stuff.  All we see is if it works or not.
