All that does is possibly ruin OLED TV's with burn in. Also, plasma if you still have one of those. Not to mention it is so annoying. Who doesn't have weather warnings turned on - on their phones?

Last ice storm we had here was in 2018.  It destroyed two of my trees.  They were split in half by the weight of the ice.

Here in Central VA the snow got to about 2" before changing to freezing rain and then basically rain mix.

Weather is all over the Atlantic states, it seems. I'm in Maryland and had snow, then sleet and freezing rain now steady rain as the temperatures have raised as the sun went down.
