Even before the Super Bowl there were several people mentioning the Marino thing and how he made it in his second year like Burrow and never made it back. It really came across like the talking heads and certain media outlets wishing it more than reporting it. Not sure what it is about the Bengals that make certain groups/individuals just not want them to succeed? The team isn't full of guys causing trouble off the field like the Bengals of old and Burrow is someone people should want to see in big games, yet...here we are.
