Devonte Wyatt DT Georgia would be an upgrade over Ogunjobi pretty damn sure.

Yeah, new he was going to get big money. He flashes like crazy early in games, I just think he gets worn out a bit too much
for my liking as the game goes on. Preferred BJ Hill for this very reason and that Hill is a much better run stopper.

Random note, congrats on getting 150,000 rep!

Good for Larry. Wish him the very best. He was an important part of my all-time favorite Bengals team.

Same I’ve wanted Hill over Larry. He seemed better all around last year and was huge in the playoffs after Larry went down

Wow yeah let him go for that. Good for him, but not worth that imo

Feels like a lot for 5-7 sacks a season
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Still have Reader, Hendrickson, and Hubbard all as guys who got paid, including the top two cap hits on the team once Waynes is released.

Hope nobody tells BJ Hill the money Larry is getting.

If we lose both Hill and Larry that’s 12.5 sacks to make up for. I like our guys on the edge, and Reader is a great run stopper, but they will need to address the interior pass rush.

I'm thinking all the post-free agency mock drafts are going to have the Bengals drafting a DT.

Probably. But a rookie DT isn’t going to give you 12.5 sacks.

For sure, but I don't know how else than can try to replace what has been lost. I hope we can get Hill, but he might be cashing in now that Larry O set the market value high.

Hopefully we find a replacement he was a strong piece to the DL last year.

We have a ton invested already. I don't think it would be likely for us to put that much more into it lol

And the year before that they combined for 3.5 sacks.

Can't pay 5 guys on the DL. They'll find new guys and they'll be okay. The new guys only need to be the 4th and 5th best players on the DL after all.

Man, he sure got paid. Good on him. Not worth that to me though. Sign Hill

13.5 AAV for Larry. Holy shit. They can have him for that price tag.

Not sure why the year before matters, but ok…

Like I said, our DL was a major strength the year the Bengals were actually relevant. I just hope we don’t see too much of a drop off from the interior. Never said they should have overpaid them to stay.
