Bruce Willis Steps away from Acting.

Bruce has had a long and iconic career in the film industry... Now is stepping away from the film industry after being diagnosed with aphasia.

Sadly this could explain some of the movies hes been in the last year.

I have always been a fan of the Die hard Series and my wife and I's favorite movie is Fifth Element.

What's your favorite Bruce Willis movie.

Fifth Element and Looper are both great aside from the Die Hard series.

It also explains some of his behavior on set. He’s reportedly been extremely difficult to work with for years (see Kevin Smith’s comments on him). Definitely sad news. He’s been in so many classics. My favorites are probably Pulp Fiction and Sin City.

Yes, some of his action movies were fun, but my favorite performance of his was as Ernest in "Death becomes her." He went against type in that one and it worked out really well. It's a shame the movie doesn't get shown that much.

We should all go on a Bruce Willis marathon in honor of his retirement.

Let’s see if I can make a top 10 list:

The Fifth Element
Pulp Fiction
Die Hard
Hostage
16 Blocks
Looper
Armageddon
Sin City
Moonrise Kingdom
The Sixth Sense

I'm probably in the minority here, but I thought he did a great job in Unbreakable. That movie just had an unfinished terrible ending. I don't like movies that write what happened later on the screen. If the movie had a proper ending then I'd probably consider it a great flick.

He's been a very good actor in so many movies. The Die Hard series was just great. He did a good job in Armageddon and many others. Sad to see him go.

On a side note...  I need to watch Split and Glass which are relative to Unbreakable.

I’d probably have 12 Monkeys on there over a couple of those.

The last boy scout was actually the film that made me notice Willis, so any marathon I would watch would begin with that one.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Sad news.

Looking back at his movies I think my favorites were:

12 Monkeys
Unbreakable
Armageddon

I did like his cameo in Oceans 12 too.

I also see he had a cameo in a Gorillaz music video so I’ll have to dig that up and watch it lol

Never been a fan of Bruce Willis or his acting. If I was forced to watch one of his movies every day for a week, it would probably be Unbreakable. It's shitty to hear about his diagnosis though. That's a tough one and will be a challenge for his family.
