They declined to charge him. But the twitter universe seems to be critical of the Bengals drafting him though it appears they knew.

Seems excessive.
Also, Defector Media doesn't seem like a credible source...unless you think Deadspin is/was a credible source?

I’m just curious as to why we didn’t see this article last year?? Just doesn’t make sense. Honestly, I need more information. Coaches will be asked about it soon, so that’ll be where I can form a better opinion.

It's draft weekend. Coaches aren't going to be asked about this dated "news". Legit media outlets aren't even picking up on it. This is a nothing burger, a weird hit piece on a player no one really cares about anyway. For all we know it could have been a Jackson Carman that got accused.

Not sure if you read it, but I think the issue here may have been the accuser couldn’t remember her cell phone number that was used to tell a bunch of people when asked. Eventually they figured out it’s the same number she had all along and they got a warrant for said record and within days closed the case. Something tells me there was something in the records that killed the credibility of the accuser but who knows.
I agree, these cases are historically handled poorly but I also think the people who were involved had more information than us, or the random person who wrote the article. I personally don’t care either way what happens to Carman but I do think if you read the whole article there are some weird things in there in even how the story is portrayed where it feels like the writer is trying to fill some gaps in on their own.
