Cool interview.  Summary as I watch it.

Doesn't like to do a lot of media stuff and hates the attention.  Likes to work out, cold tub for health, and hang out at the house.
Loves playing football but doesn't like everything that comes with it.  Doesn't like the attention.  Has some anxiety from it, loves the fans but it's a lot sometimes.

Then contract talk.  Talk about his college career and offer he may have had in basketball as well.  Basketball was his favorite sport.  Then he decided to focus on football.

More talk about he broke his hand at Ohio State and how he ended up in LSU.  Was confident when he got on the field.   Felt he was a better game player than a practice player.   First year at LSU felt he was feeling out the process and the second year it clicked.

When asked, he isn't really into partying these days.

Was kind of happy he got to stay home during the draft due to COVID and celebrate with his family instead of all the media stuff.

----------------------------------

Paused video here.  Have to go due stuff instead of watching the rest.  But the more I see of Burrow the more I like him.   I'm glad he appreciates the fans but also isn't into getting attention.  He seems like a guy that wants to play first, put it all on the field with no concern about what the media thinks.

Also for us Burrow fans, here is his charity.  The Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund:

https://appalachianohio.org/grow/funds/fund-profiles/joeburrow/

If you have a few bucks to spare maybe consider tossing them that way. Here is a video from December 2021 about it. I think it is worth watching the entire video.

As much as we love this game, Bengals and the NFL games , there are more important things to support.

Gotta say it held my attention for over an hour... great interview. If you are interested def check it out. Burrow makes note of it in the interview but he isn't really a fan of the media. Very low key guy.

Did he mention the uncultured hostage they're holding at the moment?
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

I hope this doesn't sound like criticism, because I respect Joe as much as anyone, but if he doesn't like attention why does he wear outrageous outfits. Sponge Bob Squarepants garb, Santa hats, bling, far out looking suits? He has to know people comment about them.

Maybe because he doesn't care what people think, just having fun with it.  So not necessarily for attention but just goofing around and having some fun. Burrow is in a position where everything he does is under a microscope. So having a bit of fun with it is understandable.

If anything I think his wearing those outrageous outfits is mocking all the attention the media gives to wardrobes chosen by other NFL players.

In the interview he mentioned he has a classmate "Meta?" who designed the coat he wore with the glasses and turtleneck look that went viral; so that could be partial motivation.

That won’t be proof enough. Fred needs affidavits, lie detector tests, and was Joe sworn in? His take on the culture ranks up there with the newspaper headlines “Dewey Wins”

He does not smirk and roll his eyes at that. Thank God you aren't a reporter with a following

No he didn't. He shut the reporter down when asking the question.

Hell, when they expounded he freely admitted many of the 3rd down sacks are on him.

I will say that even I was surprised when he stated: "If they didn't fit we got rid of them". I'm not sure who he may be talking about. I'm actually at a "Big Los" when trying to figure it out.

His mom already commented on this. It's an extention of his demeanor and who he is. He has a confidence and lil cockieness about him..

I don't know what you watched, but I think it was towards them for asking that question, not against the oline the more I think about it. They tried tripping him up.. He took a drink and eye rolled..

He didn't roll his eyes. He looked at the other guy. That's how he moves his eyes around all the time. He said they played great and he meant it. You maklde it sound like he rolled his eyes and dogged his oline.

I’m sure about 1 and that was William Jackson. I’d suspect others.

Doesn't matter Joe would never dog a teammate especially not one of his OL.  He is a coaches son and a fantastic teammate/leader.  Just not in his DNA.
