Crazy Stats and Quotes Thread
Whenever I see names of today passing legends of yesterday, often in way fewer games, I cringe. The stats are impressive and worthy of praise, but the era's are so vastly different that it feels unfair to judge a current feat as more or even equally impressive as the guys who did pretty much the same things 20 years ago with vastly different rules.

Major respect to Browning, and we may have found a guy who will be starting elsewhere next year. That said, when I see his name on the record books with legends, I'd say it says as much about the current state of the game as it does Browning, who has been excellent.

To be perfectly clear, I'm not saying this to bash Browning. I'm as pumped about the guy as anybody.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
