Believe it or not, this is going to be like a home game for the Cincinnati Bengals. While I understand the game is held in New Orleans at least half of the fans in attendance will be from LSU who are there to watch Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.
In my line of work I get to travel to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana rather often and I’m not sure we local Ohio Bengals fans understand the love and respect Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase have across the entire state of Louisiana. People there still talk about the national championship season the Tigers had like it happened yesterday.
There are Bengals fans all over Louisiana. Next to Ohio and Northern Kentucky this is where you will find the greatest population of Bengals fans.

Going into Bye Week with a 6-3 record sounds good right now. The Bengals need to concentrate on winning today against the Saints because with a win we can make up some ground in the AFC North. Today the Steelers play the Buccaneers, the Browns play the Patriots, and the Ratbirds play the Giants. I do not expect Pissburgh, the Turds, or the Felons to win their games.

I wouldn’t say half, but there will be many, many LSU and Bengals Burrow jerseys there. And hopefully they don’t get mauled to death by Saints fans. There are a lot of Saints fans who hate LSU, and a lot of LSU fans who either hate or don’t care about the Saints.
Also, you nailed it. I was at the national championship game. That season was the most special season I could imagine, especially die hard like me from Louisiana originally who lived through LSU in the 90s. And LSU’s won more NC’s than any other school since 2000 with the exception of Bama. It’s not like we’re strangers to victory. It was special. I literally signed up for a Bengals message board because of these guys. Add to that the struggles the Bengals went through and I pulled for the Bengals as I’ve ever pulled for the Saints.
Burrow literally showed up to the Superdome in Chase’s national championship LSU jersey. It’s damn near impossible to not root for the guy.
For some reason Mark Ingram elevates his game when he plays against us. We should win this game but their 3 headed monster rushing attack concerns me a bit. Love to see Burrow put them and Andy behind the eight-ball forcing them to throw, a lot.

yes...you can see the grass stains...and he knows the guy who owns it
