Nice! I wondered if including the Boyd throw in the poll wouldn’t go anywhere, but it’s being recognized both here and by Zac Taylor.

Zac's opinion on Joe's best throw as a Bengals

Maybe I am way off base here, but that is a significantly more impressive catch than throw, in my opinion. Boyd being able to snag that is just bonkers.

In terms of best pure throw, IMO it's this:

The other ones were into tight windows, this was a throw on as much of a rope as Burrow has ever throw, ALSO to a tight window and the distance he had to throw to get anticipation on it, just incredible.

It seems that way to me, especially considering the amount of grabbing the DB is doing.

The catch is absolutely great, no question. I do think though that Joe had to put it in exactly one place for it to become viable for Boyd, and within a very brief timing window. On that one I think it’s less the physical *throw* than the mental components of the play that are amazing. I’m content to collapse all of that under a summary category as “the throw”.

Going with the bomb to Higgins against the steelers.

Not really because it was the best throw I've seen from Joe, but because it was against the steelers.

Joe is a maestro passing the ball and it's almost impossible to pick just one play, but the pass to Chase in double coverage yesterday was certainly one of the best.

Dude is painting a masterpiece right before our eyes and we just have to watch in wonderment as he does so and be thankful.

Bengals hit the lottery when selecting Joe "Freakin" Burrow, and he's an Ohio kid to boot.

I don't know about "best" but this is really tremendous, if underrated. Joey's not only scrambling here, he's retreating. The touch, the vision, the timing, the composure to do it under pressure, the smarts to know that Mixon will be there, and- like JT said on the QB School- the "audacity" to even try it... wow. Masterclass on quarterbacking.

Burrow to Mixon
