Bengals have not won a Sunday night game in over a decade
#1
Beat Dolphins 16-13 in 2004.

0-7 since then.

4 of those seven losses have been to the Steelers ('07, '12, '13, '14)

The worst part about late games and the Bengals losing is feeling like you wasted 3 hours when you could have been sleeping, lol. Something was off from the 1st snap in the Texans game, hope to feel differently here.

Wasn't the game against the Broncos last year a Sunday nighter?

I just have this feeling that the Bengals are going to bounce back and play extemely well offensively. The key is if the defense is going to continue playing very well.

The only Sunday night game I care about us winning is in February.

At least we made a game of it.  At least the players did.

Transcript of Marvin Lewis' post game conference last night.

Interviewer "Can you explain the loss tonight coach? It seems like the mistakes are back and haven't gone away after all"

Lewis "We had the players ready last night and then they read Fredtoast's post and deflated everyones ego. In fact Jeremy Hill threw the football at another player in the first series because the player reminded Jeremy of Freds post"

If only the ghosts from 2005-2015 didn't haunt us. Clearly why we lost the game. Mellow

Meh, hard to leave the past behind when our owner/GM and HC have been around for the entire playoff drought and Sunday night drought respectively.

I remember that game. Palmer was dreadful.

It was also a time when we didn't have to hold our breath when our kicker ran onto the field.

To be fair, Nugent is 15 or 17 when it comes to game winning/game tying field goals after last night.

Then again, it might drop back to 14 of 16. Not sure if it still counts.

Hell, 2 of his 3 misses this year were blocked.
