Bills at Bengals Prediction!!!
(01-01-2023, 02:40 AM)NUGDUKWE Wrote: Josh Allen is a different kind of running QB. When he runs he looks to run people over. He can do it a little clumsy at times and I think the best bet would be to go for the ball. But if he puts one on the ground that might make him 2nd guess running the ball.

If he wants to do that then you treat him like they treated Derrick Henry.  If the King wasn't running this defense over, a quarterback sure as heck isn't either.  Allen would be wise to try and beat the Bengals through the air on the boundary whenever he can.

Side note:

It's kind of amazing to see what a few really athletic, intelligent linebackers do for a defense.  Under Marvin, a supposed linebacker guru, this team just tried to plug in retreads.  They spent years drafting linebackers, too.  First they drafted two guys that were too small in Landon Johnson and Caleb Miller.  Then. they drafted stiffs in guys like Maualuga and Rivers.  Zac Taylor and his staff got this position right from the jump, and it paid off vey quickly.  Wilson and Pratt are both terrific in coverage and have a knack for big plays.  Even the backups are very rangy guys in ADG and Bailey  This might be the most surprising thing to me about the Taylor regime's success.  It really couldn't have gone any better.

Pertaining to this discussion, I wouldn't want to stake a game plan on running against these guys.  We'll, not unless you're Kevin Stefanski, lol.

i wish i could feel good bout this game but i just dont. im worried alot that we dont just lose but it looks like another browns monday game. the bills aint no joke and that have 3 running weapons and allen is scary as heck to me. with collins out now it could be a nightmare with burrow gettiny happy feet an turning the ball over.

i surely hope im wrong but i dont see any wheres were we have the avantage. maybe wr but diggs against britt might even that out too. i just dont see this being a wiining game but boy do i hope im wrong.

You just don’t know after the Nightmare on Halloween. But Burrow respects Allen like he does Mahomes so I’m banking on Prietime Burrow back.

Only real question is does Lou have Allen solved. We might lose but I think it’ll be a game. Lou will get his look and have him figured out for the rematch. That’ll be the game that really matters.

Looks like there may be rain tomorrow night. I've no idea who this favors or hurts. Let's just hope no one gets hurt on a wet field.

Bengals 35 Bills 27

I kinda feel like you do Leon. For some reason Bengals on SNF and MNF primetime doesn't go well. They seem to play with a flat tire under bright lights. If they can play a competitive game and not another Halloween game would be great. To beat the Bills even here is gonna take a great effort. And next week against Hundley or Jackson will be just as difficult.  I know I'm a Deborah Downer and would love them to prove me wrong.

They've won 6 in a row and we've won 7 in a row. As the late, great Gorilla Monsoon would say, it's the irresistible force meets the immovable object!

I think we win, but regardless the team that doesn't win is going to spend the next few weeks talking about how they'll win the game that "counts" in the playoffs and saying how Bengals/Bills is going to be the REAL superbowl and the NFC team that has to play either is going to get sheeeelaaacked.

Marv did bring in Thurman and Burfict..both great LBs but unfortunately with the Marv Baggage trademark

Agree. Cincy has not been good this year on Primetime.

The Cleveland game,, geez.

Sunday night @Baltimore the offense looked very lackluster and befuddled until the end of the game when they had to have a TD drive to take the lead they did it. Problem was that there was just enough time for Balt to get into Tucker range for their game winner.

That was in October though, and Cincy has been playing much better. Here's to hoping they come out firing on all cylinders tonight, they're gonna need to!

What specialty was Bengals Head Coach Dick LeBeau and how did we do under him??

Chance of rain doesn't usually pertain to the spot you happen to be standing on..It's 71% of the forecast coverage area so it is quite possible Paycore doesn't get a single drop between now and 8:30 unless it's raining right now..Since i don't live at paycore stadium..about 800 miles away I'll just hope it's decent weather for out team and garbage weather for the Bills. ala the miracle rainstorm against Brady a few years back..

I wondered how the Bengals and Bills matched up position by position. Here's what I found.

Then I wondered how their offense matches up with our defense and vice versa. Here's what I found.

For sure, want to see some big hits from Logan, Playoff P, CTB and Bell.

One thing about Diggs is we know about him, he isn't an underrated out of nowhere player like Kendrick Bourne.

All true, I could really see Pratt and the boys looking to get turnovers a lot in this game more than any other.

Just hope we don't suffer from poor tackling due to it.

The better tackling team that doesn't turn the ball over as much will win this game.

(01-01-2023, 09:27 AM)IcoHolic Wrote: Diggs is due for a big game, hopefully that happens next week. Allen will get a few runs off, can't stop them all. I don't worry too much about run defense (knock on wood), but I do worry about the secondary against these guys.

So.. Bengals 35 - Bills 0

Shutting them out eh? Don't know about that, we will see. That espn prediction almost makes me think it is possible though.

This team takes any amount of disrespect and uses it.

I think we are going to totally ravage this pretender offense

Iv been weary of getting in prediction threads but I’m finally ready

If Josh Allen plays how he’s played all season we are winning by 2 scores MINIMUM.

The only avenue i see Bills getting an IMPRESSIVE win is if we are idiots and we don’t double Diggs AND their run game is elite AND Allen plays mistake free.

I have a hard time believing all those things happen so i believe it’ll be us about 35-21.

Keep in mind this a regular season fake so i don’t feel like if we played again it would be the same but as of right now i feel like we see the better teamm

To me this game comes down to Hilton and Reader

Hilton seals that edge and Reader is his usual self and we basically have answers for the Bills main threat.

Turn Allen into a pure passer and he will give you a few 50/50 balls

I think our DBs have to be great today. If you get a bad ball today you are going to have to catch it.
