I won my super bowl bet!
#1
So, I bet a 100 on Betfred last week for the Bengals to win the super bowl at +270. Checked my account this morning and am $370 richer. Turns out, Betfred did an 'early payout' on all bengals super bowl bets! I realize this was a marketing tactic, but still nice.

This sounded so odd that I had to check it out. Indeed, Betfred is giving an early payout to those who bet the Bengals.

What I saw was this: "As a partner of the Bengals, we've had a special relationship with Bengals fans all season, stated Bryan Bennett, Chief Operating Officer of Betfred USA Sports. "After the team's huge win on the road in Buffalo last week, we had seen enough to believe they're the best team in the league. As a result, we made the decision to pay existing championship bets early as a goodwill gesture to fans and customers."

He’s got form for doing it.

Nice bit of PR but he’s made himself look stupid in the past he’s paid out on teams winning the premier league after 3 games before.

Plus he’s a massive Manchester United fan which automatically makes him a prick.

Undoubtedly I'd be a millionaire by now if sports gambling was legal in South Carolina.. Now I could start another damned church and get rich, but it's not my cup of tea.. You can't spit further than your own nose without spitting on a church here.

Maybe you should try one out.

LOL, Of course I will! That's house money, the best bet you can make. I'm betting it all back on the Bengals. They have paid off very well all year, after the first weeks that is. I'm already way ahead this season. It's a great year to be a Bengals bettor! WHO DEY!

The 3 rules of gambling, as far as I can tell:

1. never quit when you're winning
2. never quit when you're losing
3. the more you lose, the more likely you are totally going to win as long as you just try ONE MORE TIME

I don't mind if people gamble, but it's not my thing....well, unless someone wants to play a game of "WILL IT FIT?" in which case, I'm a risk taker.

Yep then you end up playing pick a number and rock paper scissors at a wacky casino with the money your cousin Eddie had buried in his yard.   Big Grin

I just put down a pretty crazy bet for 50$ that pays out 17.5k

I always place a prayer bet for like 5$ but today i put down 50$

Bengals win
Jamarr Chase 2 total receiving TDs
Tyler Boyd 1st Bengals TD
Burrow over 255 yards
Mahommes Under 279 yards
Mixon 70 yards or more

I like bets that have an early factor so I’m not watching the whole game stressed.

Boyd ate the Chiefs up last game so that’s why I’m thinking he may score 1st

I bet that Boyd bet is the one that smashed the odds

What is "WILL IT FIT" ?

Since you have a negative view of sports bettors and portray us as dumbasses desperately trying to win our rent money back, why are you here?  Are you a preacher or something?

I'm simply trying to save you from the pitfalls of gambling, while simultaneously trying to turn you on to the glorious game of WILL IT FIT...is that so bad?
