Amen. The issue is up front.

Improving O line will fix the RB problems.
Restructure or cut Mixon - don’t spend $ on RBs. Spend it on the OL.
Perine is good at what he does so keep him if the money works.

Yep, need better depth at Tackle, that is for sure. Adeniji was pretty much worthless out there, and Carman looked like his old self out there, after his brief stint as a one-game wonder versus an emotionally exhausted Bills defense.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I'm sick of Mixon. Terminate him immediately. He ain't worth jack squat.

Really what a crap board some make this
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Also... I don't think Tee Higgins is a luxury. Boyd will need adequate replacement as well. We struggled without him.
Agreed.
Think there will need to be some real tough decisions and if losing Mixon (keeping Perine) is way to hold onto Tee then I'd do it.
Seems a lot easier round the league to find a lower round back to contribute quickly than a big bodied #2 who plays like a #1

Mixon isn't a $12 million back.
Draft a Pacheco type.
I don't think you should pay big bucks to RBs, but if you absolutely have to, stay away from Barkley and his injury history. Would rather have Pollard.
Think the answer is just grab a mid or late round guy, and either another real late or pay a little extra signing bonus to a priority UDFA or two. Take a couple shots at it.

Yeah, Perine is the one to stay. Can actually pass block and statistically wasn't a massive drop off from Mixon.
Mixon is just a money issue right now. Isn't productive enough to warrant a big spend at RB.

If it's between releasing Mixon or signing Perine, it's an obvious choice.

Pratt has been solid.
The play with the missed tackle I thought he had him but his own dlineman came in and knocked him off the running back instead of helping.
That's how I saw it anyway.
Pratt apologized. He was emotional. I'm willing to forgive him.
He's been a solid player. I would like to see him re-signed. He's our best option at that position.

Evans was a terrible reach pick, made no sense.

Mixon is the one player that was vocally disgruntled at times during the season.

Perine is the perfect back for this offense.
Our offense is more effective when he's in there.
He blocks better, is a quicker/more effective and decisive runner, great at catching the ball and running in space.
Draft a RB as his backup.
I'm starting to think if the team really focuses in on re-structuring this team in the offseason to focus on it's strengths and depth, we will be a better team next year.
Add another solid corner to the mix in the draft.
Add a solid tackle to replace Adeniji (draft).
Add a solid guard for depth behind Cappa (draft).
Draft a RB to replace Mixon and be Perine's backup.
I'm not so sure management will release Mixon. But if they are forced to make a business decision, Perine over Mixon is obvious.

Same and the most important skill to a RB is blitz pickup and that is where Mixon struggles at times and sometimes even
shows no effort which I find unacceptable. I like Mixon's burst and when he hits the hole and runs with vision and he has
been a great man since he got here but either a substantial restructure needs to happen like you said or we need to move
on from him, not Samaje Perine.
