He technically is the starting TE. The Bengals tried to draft a TE last year, but they missed out. I expect them to draft someone this year to be TE 2, potentially TE 1.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.

Not sure why everyone thinks Sample is incapable of being te2 and that a rookie TE will play more.
While Sample isn't great, he can block and catch short passes. Rookie TEs usually suck at blocking.
