And props to TJ Friedl for getting the rally started with a sweet leadoff single . . . great thing India cleared the way for De La Cruz by rolling into a double play. If not for his leadership, we might not have seen that awesome display of speed by Elly.

How about that Will Benson ? 3 weeks ago I was wondering if they would send him back down. In the las 15 games he's batting .357 has his yearly average up to .293 with an OPS of .888

Elly ?? WTF ?? The guy is just from another planet or something. He's only 21, I can't even imagine what he'll do next. I don't even have a word to describe him.

And my lord. How the hell does Weaver have a 7.00 ERA and we win every game he starts ?? I can't imagine that's not some kind of MLB record.

I was screaming at that UMP on that call. I don't think I've yelled at the TV in a baseball game for a couple decades. That wouldn't have been a strike against a guy 5'10" The catcher dang near had to dig it out of the dirt. I was livid

The Reds need to rest up over the break and get ready for a push to the playoffs. We still need some starting pitching soon to continue to contend. Teams will be dealing soon. Unfortunately, we may lose a good player to get a starter.
