***Week 2 GameDay Thread - Ravens @ Bengals***

They were 0-3 last year. Just have to win more games than the others. Not likely though because Balt and Cleveland have improved.

How does a line get so outplayed when they are down 2 starters. Just head scratching.

Start 0-2 if it means Burrow is 100% ready for Week 3. Instead, we've played him, he's looked awful and will probably not be ready for next week either. He's clearly not 100% or all that close. What we've done by playing him, is lose these games anyway, and probably delay the point at which we can expect Burrow to be ready.

Had they not been conference games, with one at home you'd be correct.  Cincy, legitimately, could finish in last place in the North if Lou doesn't get this defense straightened out.

Zac needs to give up play calling.

More than one thing can be bad at a time. In the Bengals case, possible seven or eight bad things.

It's worse because he lives in CLE. It's not nearly as bad with all these fans living in CIN, they have "friends" lol. Browns fans are shitheads.

Joe cost us the game again with that dumbass interception in the red zone. Franchise QBs can’t do that

Playing an NFL game is likely not healing his injury, he looks worse than when he started the season, using a theragun near the end of the game and limping out there to shake hands.

I want Will Grier to start against the Rams. Jake Browning isn’t even worthy to hold a clipboard.

Lol like who? Who is going to replace them? If this season is lost, it was lost this off-season. Drafting 3 corners and a pass rusher than can’t get pressure.

We need their backups starting here.

Yes, but if that was a FG, do you think the D stops Baltimore for a game winning FG drive?

He certainly holds the team back.

And in the future, because of these extensions...the talent level is going to decline.

We've gone and lost these games anyway. Of course it's easier in hindsight, but we're now likely at a stronger disadvantage for Week 3 too.

I know Burrow would've pestered Zac to play, that's understood. But what about Burrow has made the team think 'yeah he's ready'. What have they seen in practice which has made them think he's good to go? He's clearly not quote ready based on these two games.

Neither of these games were the AFC Championship game. We can rebound from 0-2 with both losses being in the division. Play the long game.

Who are you going to bet being out rushed by practically a 3-1 margin...

Yup. I would have been running the ball more, and the play actions were working fairly. Not a Mixon hater, not much of a fan anymore, but he can give two or three good games and I think he had a shot today.
