Hard to say. He’s been mostly terrible in the playoffs.

Folks using Burrows injury as a clutch are just in dismay over what they are seeing and it’s the only answer they have that gives any hope that the fix is good health.

Peach. I concur. He looks LOST not injured.

Agreed but they don’t have half the talent we do on O and didn’t spend 275m on a QB.

Tomlinson would probably have us at 3-1 ….so would Harbaugh.

Hell I'll say it. Cincinnati has a better chance to make the playoffs via wild card if Burrow sits the next 2-3 games than they do if he plays the next 2-3 games. You simply do NOT heal a soft tissue injury by continuing to move it. Cincinnati will have a losing season if they continue to play Burrow not at 100%, but DO have a chance to save the season and make the playoffs with a healthy Burrow, even though they might have to sacrifice a couple of games. Not to mention.....Browning is quite capable of leading the offense enough to where they can win a game. The D? No clue, that's all on Lou. There is an excuse for the offense, but the defense....???? losing both Bell and Bates left a huge hole to fill. Can't blame the D on a hobbled Burrow. Maybe Lou isn't the defensive genius many make him to be.

It has nothing to do with being “lost.” His mechanics are an absolute mess right now. Anyone with eyes can see it (looking at you Zac). He can’t push off his back leg at all. He can barely hit anything over 10 yards. Did have one nice deep throw today but ofc Boyd couldn’t bring it in.

Check all the 2021 tape. Burrow has always been a pocket passer. A classic QB. Him being a Brady like statue back there doesn’t hirt him like you guys are making it out to. Maybe other qbs but not Burrow who has proven time and time again he can throw from a phone booth.

Now y’all just insulting him acting like his game hasn’t been the classic pocket passer.

They were sending seven and they all went to one spot. He would have destroyed them any other year. Nobody had to worry about him escaping the pocket. Brady was not a statue. He was a magician moving in the pocket.

You also haven't heard Burrow come out and say they shouldn't throw it 70 times a game because he's a QB and they want to throw the ball. It's not his job to make that decision that's the job of the playcaller.

You see QBs all the time wanting to go for it on 4th down and their HCs/OCs call them off the field because a FG is what the TEAM needs and it's their decision as the person in charge of the team.

Players want to play while concussed, but there are people who are in position to make that decision for them though, for what's best for them and for the team.

Burrow is a 4th year QB, not a HC, not an OC. It's not his job.

Burrow barely left the spot outside of that first throw.

His movement has been his special power when he does in his career but he’s been a statue 90% of the time. And he’s beat blitzes from the pocket too.

Brady would throw flat footed. He’d literally be standing still. He did move well at times but most of the time Brady would be standing still at the top of his drop.

We’ve all seen Brady stand still in the pocket. He was a statue. Hell he went down if a defender even breathed on him. No one said he never moved but let’s not let our frustration rewrite Brady’s history to make him out to be Big Ben for the sake of defending Burrow.

What in the world…..

The Tom Brady I remember slid around the pocket perfectly.

Yes Taylor should be the one to decide, but I think Burrow has enough pull to talk ZT out of what, to most, would seem a common sense choice.
Burrow needs to sit out AT LEAST the next two games and get ready for the second half of the season. They still have a good chance at the playoffs because it's so early in the season, but you've got to have a 100% healthy Burrow.

Season is done. They have scored one TD in 4 games. The Cardinals have scored no less than 16 points a game. We have scored 3 points twice. We go 1-4 next week and the team will throw it in.

I'm thinking after JB didn't demand a contract that gave everyone more money than him and his poor play while injured some are starting to realize; he's human.

I don’t think the calf is stoping Burrow from sliding in the pocket. He can’t spin out of pressure or roll out maybe but y’all exaggerating to say he can’t slide a little here or there. If he can walk he can take a step to the right or left.

Those aren’t quick sudden movements. Unless y’all rewriting history to say Brady was quick and sudden in the pocket? What y’all talking about doesn’t strain anything. He is dropping back out of the shotgun. He can move. He said himself movement in the pocket doesn’t effect the calf.

He's full of it, watch him play he hardly looks anything like himself.  He's a statue back there and doesn't even scramble. His mechanics are off due to his injury.

He's right the team isn't executing, both sides are a mess. What the hell are these coaches doing? This team looked horrific today, and all year. The team definitely isn't helping Burrow's cause for sure.

Really. Or when he needed to?

Y’all acting like Burrow has to move every drop back and can’t and that is why they go games where they are 1-11 on third down just isn’t accurate. The film is there. You can’t get the ball out like Brady and Burrow in 2.1 seconds if you doing the cha cha slide All.The.Time like you claim.

I get it tho. An injury is a crutch to point to when searching for answers.
