So really, it's been cb2 and SS that has been issues in the secondary
I have been pointing out the loss of Apple for weeks now. Apple is not a great CB but he was a good CB #2 or #3. It isnt just Bates and Bell this defense is missing but losing Apple is also a big part of the struggles. Also, Dax Hill may be a young safety with potential but he is certainly not potential all pro caliber safety that Bates is. You cant lose that much talent from your defense then be surprised when they struggle.
