Just blew someone's mind . . . he had no idea that Michael Bolton's beginnings were in Hard Rock/Heavy Metal. That's where the long hair comes from, his 'Rock roots'. <--- I are a jenius
This was also on the radio where I lived. And of course the title track of his next album was on the soundtrack to Rodney Dangerfield's Back To School After that, he sang sappy pop and love songs but it set him up for life.

Ditto. I watch a lot of Ola Englund's Youtube channel (he's the lead guitarist for The Haunted) but musically, i probably like most of their earlier stuff better too. CoB, i can listen to about anything because Alexi was such an amazing guitarist and composer. I just recently got into PD. Love me some Parkway Drive! That last album had some absolute bangers on it. “Prey For the Sorrow” and “I Hope You Rot” are two of my favorites off that album. I’ve heard SOME new stuff on SiriusXM Liquid Metal, and while I like it, I feel like they blew their load on that last album and its gonna take a lot to top it!

Just threw on some Elvis on vinyl, The Hawaii Concert. I honestly had no idea today is the 45th anniversary of his death until after I put it on and then started this post. Rest In Peace to The King.
I saw this absolutely AWESOME interview with Martin Sheen. You can see how much of a fan he was and he really opened up about the impact he had on his life. He really seemed to happy to do this part of the interview because it wasn't about selling a new movie or project and that is just so enjoyable for the viewer. Treat yourself to a little time capsule describing life as an Elvis fan from a true fan.

One of the first records I've bought in my life.
