This can't be repeated enough.  Yeah, he got one, maybe two too many contract extensions but he took us from a laughing stock to a respectable playoff contender.  And he did that while dragging ownership out of the '80s into the 21st century.  

All of that put them in a position to get to where they are today.   It's a shame that he never got the team over the playoff hump, but outside of that 90% of our problems were because people give too much of a damn what the morons in the media think.

I don’t think a lot don’t realize the offense is geared to protect Joe in general as well as the things he doesn’t like makes it somewhat limited.
