He's seemingly a good punter, but when you punt more than anyone else in college football getting the most yards isn't necessarily reason to call home.

Don't disagree but he also had the third highest punt average in the country at 48.16 yds/punt as well as being number 1 in the country with a 44.17 net yards average. He is certainly worth a late rounder given the current Bengal punter.

Definitely believe he'd be an upgrade to the current punter.  Just wish a certain punter who's been mentioned frequently on this board would get a call.

There was such an overreaction to Chrisman, personally.

Dude averaged nearly 48 YPP in 2022 and had a net YPP of 42.6.
But the whole hangtime thing caused the fans/team to want someone with hangtime, so they took Robbins, who has no leg at all.
Robbins has 44.2 YPP and a net YPP of only 39.7.

Robbins and Chrisman also had the same touchback percentage (7.1%), but Robbins did put more inside the 20 than Chrisman did.

Regardless, I would like to have Chrisman back to compete with Robbins again if they don't bring in Araiza or get another dude as UDFA/late round draft pick.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Well, when you're told to punt to the sidelines in the waning moments of the AFCCG and you drive it right down the middle of the field and your opponent busts a huge return that costs you a return trip to the SB, you kind of fall out of favor.

Yes, the stakes weren't as high, but the literal exact same thing happened on Sunday.

Yeah give us a guy who can boom it deep.
I’m over this hang time/accurate punter crap. Give us a guy who crushes it.
Better to hit a touchback and have them take it at the 25 then a shank that gives it to them at the 40.
