It's more about signing a bad player to a boat load of money.

Really depends on the signing bonus and amount guaranteed at signing. Hard to judge it until then, but at least initially it does seem like an overpay for Jeudy.

It could theoretically be like a 1yr/$13m contract with functionally $20m and $25m options for 2025 and 2026. Doubt it, but hard to judge it until we know.

$41m guaranteed is not necessarily guaranteed at signing.

Lamar Jackson got reported as $185m guaranteed (only , but it was $135m guaranteed at signing. It's a big difference. The first number gets reported because it makes the player and agent look better and doesn't really hurt the team because they know the second number is the only one that actually matters.

I'm not sure that's completely accurate. Tee was drafted into a much better situation than JJ. Denver has had a revolving door of QBs, OCs, and HCs.
Tee has had continuity at QB, HC, and OC since his arrival. Tee also has Chase on the other side of him which allows him to take advantage of single coverage.

JJ has the talent to be in the conversation with Tee. JJ's had a lot of unfortunate luck with his draft destination but his most glaring issue has been injuries. If he could stay healthy his numbers would most likely be on par with Tee's, but dude has had more than his share of bad luck thus far.
