***2024 NFL DRAFT THREAD***

Some people are just dumping picks like, "Draft is garbage. Get rid of all these picks and let's go back home." I'd be ok with 10 late round picks. See if you find that diamond in the rough that breakthrough in the preseason.

If the Bengals take Mike Sainristil at #49.... meltdown.

And I like Sainristil.

or Franklin, Mitchell i thought would fall he has been criticized for not playing hard and does not contest very well, not saying not to pick him but i did not think he would go in top of 2nd round

If our plan with 10 damn picks was to throw darts at a board and hope then we have no idea wtf we are doing

Nice to have an Edgerinn back in the league.

I would have took Benson

Brooks is an ok back but overdrafted here IMHO. He's fast, twitchy and a receiver as well as a RB but has major issues with balance and inability to break tackles.

If they plan on reaching at DT to have it done and over for the next pick then I'd rather them trade down (seriously) with part od the trade package trading back up in the 3rd or 4th. We can't be add8ng more picks but I'm fine with a combo pick trade rather than a true reach just to fill a need like Jackson at NT being the new Sample at TE pick.

I am just getting impatient waiting to see who it is.

Yes there is going to be talent there at #49

Feeling that the Jags may take Mitchell

WR - Mitchell, Franklin, Wilson
G - Beebe
C - Frazier
DT - Jenkins, Smith

Assuming they are all left in a couple picks, I'm going to guess Jenkins or Frazier.

And I like Sainristil.

I don't meltdown, but I would be unhappy w/ 1 and 2. Hopefully 2 makes me happy

Jenkins would be my guess. Would love Frazier, Bebee or even Sinnott here but I don’t see that happening

As I told Soonerpeace the Bengals did a ton of work on all the higher regarded DTs and were looking early.

Meanwhile, other vital needs go ignored.

Before this year, we had only used 1 pick from the first two days of the draft on OL in the last 4 drafts.

None of those other vital needs protect our $55m/yr QB's season or career from ending.

Anyone want to double dip and take Kingsley. I know we don’t need him but I’m a fan
