Secure Connection URL?
#1
I don't remember if this has ever had its own thread, but one thing I've noticed about this forum site is it's flagged as Not Secure.
One thing that should make this far more secure is having HTTPS connection protocol rather than basic HTTP.

Is there some secure connection URL rather than just http://thebengalsboard.com?
If so, what is it?
If not, what would it take to get one added?
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

It is because the site uses HTTP instead of HTTPS. If they want to enable HTTPS, they will need to get a TLS cert from the hosting provider.

There are a few changes / updates coming soon...HTTPS will be one of them.

I can post new posts and new threads but can't reply to posts. Is the new change in process?

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

I'm having the same problem as Luvnit2. I can't post a reply or give rep. I noticed it a couple days ago, but I was on my phone so I didnt' think much of it. Now I'm back on my desktop and still can't use those two functions.

There have been some technical issues the last couple of days due to a software update that caused some compatibility issues, mainly caused by some of the plugins. I have temporarily disabled plugins and will add them back as I get them updated.

An SSL was also added to the site, show it should now show as a secure connection.

I've not been able to access the forums for a few days. I could login on the main screen but when I went to any sub forum it would show me as logged out. I don't know if it is related to all of this but I'm glad I can finally post again.

Is the board supposed to be back to normal yet?  I’m missing some elements. So far I’ve noticed the scrolling banner is gone and post’s reaction emojis missing. There may be more?
