Someone asked Dan hoard in his daily observation thread if he noticed him favoring his wrist. He said "not at all". I think people are going down the panic rabbit hole a bit here.

Well  Tony pike is there and he mentioned it and as an ex QB would be more acute to notice, the problem is we have been here before enough with Burrow hard not to worry.

It is hard not to worry. I would have to think coming off his injury we would be seeing alot more rest days if he was having discomfort.

People are freaking out over a glove. He didn't even throw with the glove on. He put it on in between reps to break it in. It's freaking obvious what he was doing.

Has he struggled in practice recently? Yes. To what extent? I have no idea.

How this got turned into "Oh no, Burrow threw two picks in practice, it's gotta be the wrist!" Is just irresponsible and unfounded.

Exactly. He wouldn't even be out there.

Seems like only yesterday JB was "breaking in" that sleeve for his calf.

Burrow says he has learned to take it easy but someone like Zac has shown no effort to protect him, making him throw 50 times in a game where he's known injured to everyone else.

Zac may not have known how good Browning could play (or not) early in the season, but I challenged anyone else to find an NFL team that started an injured QB in week 1.

I don't trust Burrow right now in knowing how much he can take even though he's working on that and I definitely don't trust Zac based on last year.

That SB loss is going to be super disappointing when this is all over, lol, was that enough out of our team? I don't think Lou ha the defense to win a SB this year, I'm worried over there.

I am more worried about Brian Callahan being gone and us breaking in a new OC and Zacs play calling then I am about Burrows last injury.

The offense has struggled so far this year, Zac should have had Browning playing great that first preseason game and he looked bad.

If we did not get a flag on Burrows first drive in the preseason game, then that would have been a field goal the problem is bigger than a Burrow issue it is an offense issue. Unlike most I do not see Chase coming back turning things around I still think they will struggle.

It's preseason. I wouldn't expect that we try actual game planning in any of these games. They're just feeling out things and experimenting with things. The Bengals were 2-4 in the preseason in 2021-2022. You shouldn't be worried at all about preseason showing.

While I think you are putting a little too much on one offensive preseason drive there are some positive preseason notes. Outside of Burrows health I'm not worried about the offense at all. I'm excited for the new OC as he had a decent amount of hype from inside the team. I think if Brian hadn't of left we might have been losing him. Besides i still think for better or worse Zac is heavily involved in that process. The offense has made plays in camp. The defense has won some days which we need to happen.

Five observations from Day 16 of #Bengals training camp:
1. Joe Burrow wore a glove at times today. I thought he might be experimenting after the rainy practice in Chicago, but he didn’t throw with it on. He told me that he sometimes puts it on between drills on windy, dry days

Oh no..... putting a glove on between drills on windy dry days??? The horror of dry skin. He'll never be the same. The season's over I tell ya, just over. Ninja Ninja Ninja Sarcasm

there are so many things going on  that we..as casual observers.  ..can simply not get a good handle on and then we embellish everything with our own personal feelings.. I doubt very seriously  that Zac Taylor would purposefully do anything to hurt his franchise quarterback. AS far as last year..players in many sports play through minor calf injuries

LMAO, the offense has struggled "so far this year".

Can't watch YouTube at work, so what did Burrow say about it when Rapien and Pike asked him about his wrist?

As far as I can tell, Rapien didn't ask about it?

It's similar to the "wear this hand wrap to use the ipad" joke when he broke his wrist the same game lol

He was immobile, to me Burrow is not going to tell anyone he can't play, if he can just stand there - considering our offensive line it was probably not a good idea. My thing with that is did Zac think a healthy Browning < immobile Joe Burrow?

How long before people start clamoring for Matt Lee to start at C, move Karras to LG, Volson to bench?
Ninja
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
