Mims injured
#1
and I hear the collected screams of "of course"

strained pec, non surgical, will miss several weeks

Zac describe it as minor. Mims complained after the game.  He defined "several" as more than a couple and less than many.

Brown returns to team drills this week

My only concern with Mims was he was injured a lot at Georgia. Hope he comes back 100% for the opener.

When he plays, he is damn good. This is why the cut Trent Brown thoughts always had me shaking my head.

Both have injury history.

This will probably keep Jackson Carman on the roster. Ugh.

OFC i swear to God we just cant catch a break with offensive lineman. The minute we get a good one they always get injured. Meanwhile a scrub like Volson never gets hurt. I know im gonna sound like the typical sky is falling fan but this is why I didn't like this pick to begin with. The dude never had a complete season without injury. And here he gets injured in his very first game, all of 14 snaps worth. This will be his career here, i fear. We cannot catch a damn break. Wish we had that Steelers luck.

Has Brown even been practicing since camp began?

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

He will be fine. The sky is not falling. He likely wasn’t going to start week 1 anyway.

Good grief

Was going to post the exact same thing. Also Brown has had his issues dealing with injuries. Got a bad feeling about this.

Nope, but I heard that he was practicing on the rehab field and was going to play soon, we will see.

Thanks, cannot stand the sky is falling stuff. It is a strained pec, no big deal.

Knee injuries are the scary ones with OL.

Typical.

Luckily, we have Brown, so we just need to pray/hope that he stays healthy and can get the job done.

I was so excited that we'd finally see what Burrow looks behind a decent line.

Hopefully Brown can step-in and Mims can get healthy since Brown was the starter pre-injury!

It just isn’t meant for us to get something out of a first round pick year 1. This probably will delay his development.

I didn't see it was just a pec........... I saw injury and assumed the worst lol

It is a bummer that he's out, but hopefully the pec isn't a lasting thing or even a big deal since he hasn't had problems there before.

Bad news.

Rookie who was potentially battling to start week 1 missing reps is never good.
