Karras has guard flexibility and Lee could step in at center.

Burton at #6 isn't a knock on his talent it's what are you doing game day. Three starting receivers in Bengals heavy 11 personnel (Chase, Tee, Iosivas), Punt/Kick returner + backup wr Charlie Jones #4, Gunner + Backup returner + rotational WR at all 3 spots Trenton Irwin #5. Burton needs a role on game day outside of backing up only Ja'Marr Chase's outside receiver spot to make him more attractive to dress. Kick Returner/Kick team + rotational outside receiver would be a good game day role for Burton as he continues to learn the playbook.

I agree Burton is a rookie and lots to learn.

The thing I love us his ability to separate. He has not been on the field with our starting OL, Burrow, Chase, Higgins or Gesicki. Burton is a problem for safeties because of his speed. I think by midseason, he will get a lot of snaps and becomes a great option for Joe or opens up things for others.

I think he is a 2023 Yoshi right now, but with more speed.

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

I think he’s much much further along than Yoshi. Alabama/UGA vs Princeton. Burton it appears ( don’t know) has some adjusting and maturing to gain the coaches trust. If he was mature and ready I think he’d be already #3 receiver. We don’t know how he does the little things. Saban runs a little different culture at Bama. The difference makers on gameday play regardless of their practice and little things. Not that you can be a total not give a shoot. He’s just a little more lax unless it’s a game and you are a knot head and cost the team.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Exactly why, I was going to go with Hill. And they might. Or I was going to leave Hill and Ford off and say we need to find someone. But I think Ford could play 4 spots and Hill only 3. So he makes the team. If a guard goes down best option might be sticking Lee in at C and sliding Karras over.

I have never been a fan of Ford since they signed him.  He got owned again last night.  Im not sure what the coaching staff is watching when they put him on the team.

If you suck at all 4 positions what value do you really bring?  Carman has played all 4 positions but nobody wants to keep him because he can play all 4 positions.  At least Carman has shown some ability on the left side of the line unlike Ford.  Ford has been bad all around.

Yes, Ford was bad last night. He showed us why he is not a LT. They played him out of position against the starters of the Colts so even though also not a fan of Ford, last. night is not the reason.

I expect them to add a NT to cover for Jackson. Njongmeta makes the roster at LB. I also expect Carman is released / traded. Not sure we keep 5 TE. RBs we usually keep 4 - Moss, Brown and Williams speak for three of those slots. Not sure who they slot in at RB4 - I had Noah Cain as a possibility but he only got snaps this last game.

I agree.  Rehkow wasnt impressive at all and he had enough chances.  Robbins will the the punter and I think he will show improvement.  Lets face it, he couldn't possibly do much worse than he did last season.

But is he any better on the right side?  Every time I have noticed him, it looks like he is struggling out there.

This!  And he has really really good hands.

Just needs to master the playbook from what folks are saying.

Should never have been drafted you want to talk about off the field issues fiddling an underage girl should have been a red flag in the first place.

On the field a lazy unmotivated disgrace who had so many opportunities.

I’m not a fan of Pollack but he had no chance with Carman you can’t polish a turd.

Good riddance.

Everyone is going to be upset when the Bengals sign Jackson Carman to the practice squad. Lol

I don't think they cut him this early in the process to do that. This feels more like a jettison to me.

Had to ruin the moment didn’t you? Haha

I can’t see them bringing him back he’s burned through enough chances.
