Looking fundamentally sound. It will be fun to watch him develop as he grows into his full man's body.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Not a bad video but I have some stuff.

1. The Club to the helmet I'm pretty sure is a penalty I know OL aren't allowed to club DL I'm assuming it's the other way too. The Club move is when the DL uses their outside hand to smack the OL hands wide when they shoot them out then use rhe arm over to get around them.

2. Guy used 2 difficult OT to 3T reach blocks to demonstrate speed. Like always first step is important but the anchor and contact balance with a OT pressing on you from an angle is more impressive in those situations.

3. The Spin move is a common theme through his tape in college but what wasn't is the moves you expect the bull rush and everything that comes off it push/pull, swim etc.

4. That was the only double team in the Bucs game that Jenkins played well the rest are why he had a terrible pff grade as he ended up on the ground alot.

Edit: Off topic but the Suburbs are weird had people staring at me like I was insane running at 5am lol.
I have the Heart of a Lion! I also have a massive fine and a lifetime ban from the Pittsburgh Zoo...

Unrelated note i for Madden on Sunday and began playing my dynasty with BJ and Rankins starting. All 3 DTs are within 76-77 rating. For whatever reason however Jenkins ratings are distributed he’s my best DT. It became blatantly obvious and it now start him and BJ. Dude was rushing the passer too well to bench him

So you never know….maybe Madden is on to something

Good stuff indeed. I know overall he struggled more (as Synric said), but the vid shows what good he CAN do and it looks great.

Also noticed in this vid that Zach Carter gets DTd A LOT lol. I think every play shown above, he was double teamed.

Great video.
Jenkins is going to be solid.

Such a great draft this year.
Bengals needed a great draft and delivered at multiple positions.

Last year’s draft is looking great too

Both WRs are doing well, Ivey popped and at least made it an argument to team as a rookie before he got hurt (and seeing how corner went he would’ve played last year at some point), Battle established himself as a baller, and Myles and DJ have both at least flashed at some point

Everything you can realistically ask for in a draft class besides getting a superstar, happened.

Hot take here but Kris may be our defensive superstar at some point

The fact that he looked so much better in the second game really suggests the first game was him getting settled into the system. It was also nice to see how he uses technique to handle doubles; since he is not a massive person technique has to be the way. Also, I rewatched the club and he did not hit the head initially so not a flag.

It's going to be fun watching him develop.

Sometimes worrying about making mistakes can paralyze you. Jackson Carman was one of the few players drafted from a premier college program that was a bust. It’s evident they prefer players from big time programs. Say what you want about Harbaugh but he knows coaches who develop and teach. Jenkins will be solid. Mims & Burton solid. We are building a dynasty but until the OL catches up we aren’t kicking the door down.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Watching Kris grow against starters really excites me and he shown his talent with that spin move where he just set up the RG.

Going to watch the rest of the vid later and heard he had problems with the starting Center for the Colts who is very good, but
all of this is a great learning experience for Kris. You just cannot expect a rookie to come in and not struggle some especially
when he has Zach Carter playing next to him who has been pretty terrible his entire career here for the most part and it has
just continued this Preseason.

We are going to need some depth on the D line to step up this year. Hopefully Jenkins as well as Jackson play well.
