Week 1 opponent-Patriots

DOUBTFUL

QUESTIONABLE
RB Antonio Gibson, Hip (LP)
T Vederian Lowe, Abdomen (LP)
LB Joshua Uche, Foot (FP)

Chase said he will play without a deal from his own mouth. Maybe the coaches might discipline him would be the only reason he is
listed as questionable? Happy we got Gesicki, Moss, Burton and All in the Offseason. This and Burrow being healthy make me feel
just fine going into this game especially with Sow, Gibson, Lowe and especially Uche maybe not playing for the Pats.

Uche is one heck of a player and have always thought Antonio Gibson was more than a decent RB.

Stevenson their RB is still my biggest concern going into this game if we cannot slow him down, underrated player IMO.

I do think they are made of cheese and it’s the reason why we won’t guarantee the 2nd year to get his deal over the line.

Really reminds me of a player over here called Michael Owen all the talent in the world but once he did his hamstring the first time he was never right, still had a solid career like Tee will have but you’re always one play away from him going down again.

Yep, hammy issues are rough and tend to linger.

Biggest reason I was not for extending Tee for big money besides us HAVING to extend Chase. Cannot pay everybody and shouldn't pay
a player with reocurring hammy issues.

Higgins who didn't want to be here as franchise tag now doubtful saying hamstring

Chase who wants a new contract is questionable

and Mixon is with Houston

I'm not liking how Bengals are approaching this game with Patriots. It's a good way too lose to Patriots and Chiefs and start season 0-2 hurting play-off chances.

Try to not shit your pants if Iosivas catches 10/180 and a pair of TDs. That guy is a bonafide athlete who put in a ton of work with a WR coach to fix the flaws in his game, and let's not forget that he does have some experience working with Burrow.

Now that is funny Sam.  Hilarious

Yes sir, we have plenty of TE's to throw to. I also like Drew Sample at H-Back, Gesicki in the Slot, Erick All on slide blocks and I liked
what I saw from McLachlan this Preseason and really liked what I saw from Tanner Hudson last season against Zone D. This room is
improved beyond imagination from last year and I still like our WR's besides Chase and Tee.

Im a huge McLachlan fan, but I'd be surprised if he is active unless someone gets hurt.

Nothing against Iosivas, but if neither Chase or Higgins play, have to feel Bengals WR position weaker.  I mentioned no more Mixon, I should mention no more Boyd either.  I'm not sure Defenses are going to have a hard time with just Iosivas.  This reminds me of all Bengals such as AJ Green injured, and people said don't worry, we still have Baby Hawk. Except Baby Hawk and the bench WR's couldn't get separation, but the fans put the blame on Dalton. So we have Iosivas and we have Drew Sample and some other guys off the bench.

Now if Chase plays, yes Iosivas could be an OK WR to also have out there.  Let's not pretend he is an NFL #1 WR.

he said without a contract he is a game time decision, not sure how you get we will play without a deal, in the end Chase has been a mess with the hold in/out etc over the past couple weeks.

If you accept that Burrow is an elite QB than you also have to expect Elite Players to rise above injuries and win at a much higher rate.  I watched Rodgers win games at times with a WR crew like we could put out there  Sunday.  The good news though we might be thin at WR Sunday, we have the best line we have ever had for Burrow so time to stop excuses and win early in the season.

Did any of you not watch Mahomes throwing to his young receivers? They never even missed Hollywood. Burrow can do the same with Yoshi, Irwin, Chuck.... and this could be an excellent chance for Burton to get out of Zac's doghouse. Chase will play. Zac saying how much is depending, I think it's just depending on the score. If we don't need him, I expect him to be in and out a lot. If it's close, I expect he will play a lot.

Well Rice is like Higgins, had an excellent rookie year so just like Burrow knew what he had in Higgins, Mahomes same with Rice.  Worthy was nice but he only had 3 targets, and the TD was blown coverage, below avg WR scores on that one. He looks like he as upside but let teams get tape on him and see what he can do as a WR... Rice on the other hand had over 1/3 of the catches... Mahomes only threw 28 times but man his movement, arm angles, quick release makes him top player in the NFL.

Could be right, I really like Gesicki, Hudson and All as pass catchers anyways. All could great honestly if he doesn't hurt.

Erick All is already a fantastic blocker in the run game and so is Sample.

Won't deny it has been a mess.

We will see how we look either way, all I know is Burrow being healthy and playing with all these guys so much makes me feel good
no matter what others are saying. Poor Samhain, looks like he jumped off the ledge lol

This is spot on. Rookies and backups look like HOF QB agents the Bengals.

We're probably going to get a workmanlike, lunchpail type of game rather than the statement game we wanted. So long as it is a W this is okay.

It's going to be interesting.  if I had to bet money, I'd say Joe can figure it out vs a team like NE.

Jones is the interesting one for me.  He's got the speed and quickness, but he's small and can't take the beating.  I'd love to see him turn some heads this week.  He had some plays with Browning that would have been TDs if their communication was a bit more refined.  He gets open.  I have to think that Burrow will cash in on those opportunities.

I'm honestly not worried about it, today. Joe Burrow is an experienced and polished enough QB to make an offense function effectively with a collection of weapons that he's familiar with, even if his two weapons of choice are not on the field.
